When you think of all the escalations that have been coming out of his mouth, it’s getting disturbing. There is no on-off switch. It broke and hasn’t been repaired for months. Now we’re stuck with escalations, and it is not looking good, testosterone included. However, one would expect his to be low, too. It would certainly be something if someone could get him in for that. With gratitude for Raw Story:
President Donald Trump vowed vengeance Monday for the recent killings of three U.S. service members in the Middle East, pledging that any future American deaths would be answered: “many times over.” “Every time Iran kills an American soldier, they will pay for that killing many times over!” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social. “This directive has been passed on to Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Daniel Caine, and every Leader in the Military.”
See what I mean? He just keeps escalating the threats, and one of these days it’s actually going to happen. There’s no way to prepare for anything because he has so many options. And he has so many sycophants that will encourage him to do whatever he wants, since it’s not coming out of their pockets, either. Or Trump’s; I wonder how fast he would end this thing if he had to be paying the costs, because right now we are paying for his illegal war.
Trump doesn’t want the war to end. He wants it so he can whip up fervor in his shrinking numbers of MAGA. And they are shrinking. When you look at what’s going on in our country, paying that much for gas is an insult, a slap in the face. We did not want this war!!! Nothing has been accomplished except for helping Bibi. So now we are (still) sitting in the ocean, with some of our top equipment and personnel, people who have been out there for months, ships that need to be “tuned up,” and the only thing happening is the skirmish between us and Iran. He damn well better NOT send troops ashore. Even looking at it weeks later, it will *still* be a bloodbath.
He wants to hand over the war to the next President to worry about it. When you think back to the beginning of this war, there was no apparent plan to do anything besides throw really expensive bombs and missiles at them. It took forever before Trump actually said we were at war. Where they were aiming didn’t make sense, and how many we used *definitely* did not make sense. Right now, it really is a forever war because Trump has no intention to stop it. So much for that MOU? (That thing?) That was put together, and the US broke it, thus putting the Strait in jeopardy. Again. Damn, but I’m tired of this donkeysht.
On Monday, the Pentagon identified the two U.S. service members who were killed last weekend by an Iranian strike on the Muwaffaq Salti Air Base: First Lt. Tyler James Feehan, 25, of Hawaii, and Pvt. Isabella Gonzales, 19, of Texas. The Pentagon announced the death of a third U.S. service member on Sunday, who they did not identify but who was said to have been killed in northern Iraq from a “controlled detonation” of an Iranian drone. The Trump administration has been accused of withholding information on casualties and damage inflicted during the U.S. war against Iran, including several attacks earlier this month on U.S. assets in the Middle East.
Yep, Trump is not going to want that to get out because there’s very probably money involved. He’ll rant and rave some more so everyone’s attention is directed elsewhere and he won’t have to answer. It’s a standard Trump tactic. There are enough journalists watching the war closely now that he’s not going to be able to get it out of sight. This is good.
