If you’re wondering whether the rest of the world sees America as a bunch of idiots for restoring this clown to power, wonder no more. The answer is an emphatic “yes.” Donald Trump has blathered on about the “deal” he’s “most proud of,” which is allegedly brokering peace between India and Pakistan. The foreign secretary of India calls bullshit on that claim.

The gentleman seems perturbed. Furious might not be too strong of a descriptor. Grok says that everything depends upon how the word “mediation” is defined. I suppose we could split hairs over that.
I honestly don’t know if we can hold our head up in the world anymore after this fiasco. I believe we will be able to, simply because the rest of the world knows that Trump squeaked back in by the skin of his teeth. He may lie about a “landslide” but there was none. There was 1.5%.
On the other hand, this much is certain: After eight years of Dubya and eight years of this clown, the world no longer trusts the American electorate. Neither do I. If the Republicans nominate a chimpanzee who communicates by banging together garbage cans in Morse code, millions of MAGAs will vote for it, I’m sure.
The America that you were born in is not the same as the America that you’re going to die in, that much is an absolute. And that became obvious in 2016, unfortunately. We wanted to believe the election was a fluke, but we were wrong. There really are that many idiots who will vote for Trump. Unfortunately, we all have to suffer for their stupidity. And when I say “we all” I mean Americans and the rest of the world. The American electorate unleashed this moron upon the entire globe.

I read a good analysis of voter turnout etc. that showed it was young men that deserted the democrats and went for baby huey. I ran into two 20 something guys at the smoke shop. Clueless. One said he didn’t vote because the parties were the same. The other blurted out the protesters in LA were hired by the democrats. There you have it. I set them straight but therein lies the issue…ignorance, guised as research on conspiracy sites, has rotted the brains of our youth. Push a phucking button and get the answer you’re looking for.
