This simply makes a bad situation worse. Again, I will verify this in as timely a manner as possible. Lots of details in this case are being fleshed out. This one will probably be as well.
I know this is unverified, right now, but it is also sadly very believable.
So, why did they have the wrong address?
a. Mix up by police staff?
b. Did Daunte purposely give a false address?
c. Did he move without givng the court notice? Was this an attempt at evasion?
Lots of questions here. But he certainly did not deserve to die.
A bit of incompetence (or fuckery) just as small as this snowballed into the Ruby Ridge debacle.
