It’s the last night of the Republican National Convention and Trumpty Dumpty is going to be crowned the GOP standard bearer. The Republican party is dead, long live the MAGA party, right? Hulk Hogan is going to introduce Donald Trump, apparently and he is either this way normally or he’s under the influence of something. You decide. And yes, many references to the 2006 movie “Idiocracy” have been being made all week.

You’re getting the flavor of this, right? And the “Idiocracy” references, which has set that title to trending on Twitter. The thing about “Idiocracy” is that it was a comedy and you could be back in the real world in two hours. If we have four more years of Trump inflicted on us, we might very well never wake up — as America, that is. As some fractured fascist state, yes, but not as the country that we are right now today.

We will check in on Trump’s acceptance speech, magical as it is supposed to be. This, so far, is vomitorious. It will probably only get worse.

The members of this cult do not accept that the human race is a family, nor do they believe DEATH is waiting for all of us…including THEM.
It’s interesting that so many of them claimed to be “xians.” I have met these evangelical wingnuts and basically, it is a cult. You have to have “their” understanding of Christ and believe me, it’s not a Christ I recognize. But you co-sign on their weird version of Christianity or you’re the enemy.
