No, she didn’t go away. She only shut up for a short time, and now she’s at it again. At least she’s not *quite* as bad as Nancy Mace. Heh, that’s not saying much, but still! Apparently, she thinks she needs to make up for MTG’s retirement. Or, more likely, she loves the sound of her own voice, and her holier-than-thou attitude about how she’s *so* much better than the rest of us. Yea no. Appreciation, Raw Story:

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO), who violated rules of the House Oversight Committee during its deposition of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and took photos during the closed-door hearing, shrugged off questions about it Thursday.

Lawmakers were meeting with Clinton in her hometown of Chappaqua, New York, questioning her about her knowledge of Jeffrey Epstein, the late financier and convicted child sex offender. Boebert, who is a member of the committee leading the congressional investigation, reportedly took two photos during the questioning, which were sent to right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson and posted on social media.

Hmm. Apparently, she is now above all of us and does what she pleases. One of these days, it will bite her in the arse and leave marks. There will be a celebration that day, with fireworks at night, so everyone can see them (bonus)!! Fireworks are always fun, whether it’s the verbal kind or actual fireworks. It really has gotten to the point that she should get good and busted, even if we are the only ones applauding. There are a few people in Congress whom I detest. The rest are “Eh, Republicans”. The Democrat opinion is for another time, if ever.

Reporters later questioned her about what happened. “She walked by our camera just a few moments ago, and a number of us asked her about her decision to take those photos and share them, and she said, ‘Why not take those photos? I haven’t been reprimanded,'” relayed MJ Lee, CNN senior national enterprise correspondent. Lee asked Boebert if there was anything from the deposition that stood out. The Congresswoman said she admired Hillary Clinton’s blue suit, Lee said.

Ooooookay. She may not have been reprimanded, but it *was* against the rules. Unfortunately, nothing will be done about it, and that’s exhausting. Last I knew, Congress was supposed to be representing the people. Getting slapped for this should happen. And color me cynical, it won’t. Congress has been getting more chaotic for years. It’s amazing that anything gets done! If you don’t have solidarity even in your own team, that’s all she wrote.

Clinton responded to questions from lawmakers for several hours and urged leaders to talk with President Donald Trump, whose name appeared in the Epstein files more than 38,000 times. Democrats demanded that the full video transcript of Clinton’s responses be released without any edits. Clinton delivered her opening statement before the committee investigating ties between the Clintons and Epstein.

Her husband, former President Bill Clinton, was slated to testify before the committee on Friday. “I had no idea about their criminal activities. I do not recall ever encountering Mr. Epstein. I never flew on his plane or visited his island home or offices,” Clinton said. She also posted the statement on X. Neither of the Clintons has been accused of any wrongdoing.

Well, they haven’t charged them yet. This thing about going after the Clintons for Epstein is a publicity show. It’s also grasping at straws to redirect attention from Trump and Epstein. Like everything else they’ve tried, the redirect won’t last long, and the DoJ is still scrambling to protect Trump and other big names. I’m still torqued about not redacting victims. Something has to break loose, and soon. Speaking of, see you soon!

Friends, I know everyone begs you for money. I promise that among all those asking for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a group of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. The rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the chance to keep telling the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula

    • Ho-bert is a nickname I use because she is such a “ho” (hore) but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t come from somewhere else. There is a follow-up article that I may use tomorrow.
