For the Ninth Day, the Furkids chose these gloriously-coloured Golden Bee-eaters. Their native air space covers 11 million square kilometres (over 420 thousand square miles) from Southern Europe to North Africa and Western Asia. In addition to possessing a very high cuteness factor, these birds are acrobatic aerial hunters, performing rapid twists and turns to catch insects on the wing.
The little bird on the banner image is a turaco which is native to southern African woodland and savanna. With their soft feathery crests and bright green plumage, turacos are the purrfect adornment for a Catmas banner!
The jukebox is primed with coins and ready to go so just press play then scroll down to the illustrated lyrics and sing along!

It kept crashing for me yesterday too. Too many people at the one time maybe – our esteemed editor and manager is looking for a new hosting platform that can better deal with our greater numbers.
