Today is the Fifth Day which traditionally is “five gold rings”. However, it’s often sung as “five golden rings”, especially in North America, which makes sense because it enables singers to fit one syllable per musical note. The Furkids liked this idea — perhaps as a reaction to them assigning two syllables to single notes in the various First Days! — so they used “golden” in their variant… though they did toss out rings in favour of… well you’ll see.

I once had a tiger in my Christmas tree. It was a bit smaller than yours and is the reason I no longer put breakable ornaments on the tree. Love your days of Catmas!
