The Twelve Days of Christmas are twelve days of celebration beginning on Christmas Day and continuing through to January 5th or 6th depending on which history you read. In our house, the twelve days following Christmas Day are known as the twelve days of recovery, equally divided into six days before and six days after New Year’s Eve.

However, the furkids prefer to begin their Twelve Days twelve days before the traditional Twelve Days of Christmas (and if you could follow all that, you’re happily sober even if you haven’t finished your Christmas shopping yet.)

As this is a Funday Furkids celebration, it is properly known as the Twelve Days of Catmas. Beginning today, it will continue with a post each day right up to Catmas Eve.

    • So far it’s taken as long to recycle and update this as it did to create the original! ? I sent you a 3-tweet thread on my excursion into video editing so we could have music to accompany each daily episode. I spent all Sunday working on it. By the time I’d figured out how to do it, I didn’t dare stop until it was finished!
The header images are different for each day as are the First Day images. I’m still working on the latter (I’m halfway with six completed so far).
I’m also working on next Sunday’s regular episode so there’s a lot of work left to do this week!
Most importantly – I’m thoroughly enjoying it all!

      • That is just so *you*. But yes, the important part is that you are thoroughly enjoying it all. Moar {{{HUGS}}} to you. & of course skritches to Ms. Loula.
