I just popped over to Twitter to see what Fox News was doing about the bombshell that the Wall Street Journal dropped a few hours ago and you want to know the extent of their coverage? Zip. Nada. Rien du tout. I don’t pretend to know who calls the shots over there or gives story assignments (I know Donald Trump used to program Sean Hannity’s show back in Trump 1.0) but something is up over there. What you’re about to see, and it’s less than fifteen seconds. is Fox News’ “coverage” of the most explosive story of the year. Don’t blink now, or you’ll miss it.

I don’t think Acyn missed it. He doesn’t miss anything. This is amazing. Fox News has decided to hide from the Wall Street Journal story like it was Honolulu during WWII. You have the blackout curtains over the windows and you turn off the lights when the sirens start wailing. You hide, hopefully invisible, in the dark. Fox News is hiding in the dark, from the glaring spotlight that their “sister” outlet has turned onto the darkest story of our era, the Epstein/Trump connection.
Why you ask? Oh, that is the salient question, I concur. There are only a few reasons:
- The Murdochs have not yet announced a policy stance on this issue. So silence is playing it safe. That’s the simplest answer and the most likely.
- The Murdochs have decided that if they don’t look at it, it will go away.
- The Murdochs have decided that MAGA only knows what it hears on Fox News, so if they don’t hear about it on Fox, MAGA won’t know about it. A lot of truth in that.
- The Murdochs have decided to go to war with Donald Trump. They just want to do it on their terms and for now, dead silence is their terms.
- When Trump was talking to Murdoch he said, “Don’t say a word on Fox News.” Mebbe. Mebbe not.

This is a complete blackout from what I can tell at this moment. This is truly something to behold. I wonder if Fox News would decide to blackout WWIII? Think of it now, everybody else is screaming, sirens are wailing and everybody’s running for cover and Fox News viewers are just opening another beer and bag of potato chips. And then the sky lights up at 10:00 p.m. like it’s 10:00 a.m., the windows all explode inward and then things go black for real.
Nothing like the Epstein story to bring out the morbid in somebody. But think about it, now: What story is more morbid than that of Jeffrey Epstein? Not just the way he lived but the way he died. Sordid to the last breath.

Ursula, I’ve been suggesting for years that folks here touch base with FUX every once in a while to see what they are doing or not doing. Like Rachael says, “Watch what they do not what they say.” In this case it’s upside down, but still true.
