If you start to shake your head at the tastelessness of Donald Trump Jr. celebrating the destruction by the weather of a mural devoted to George Floyd, bear in mind that this is the same guy who grins holding up the dead body of a leopard, or other endangered species.
And let me clue you in how these so-called “safaris” operate. There is nothing manly about this kind of a hunt. There are mercenaries who cater to rich assholes like the Trump sons, and entrap animals in cages. The animals are starving and dehydrated. The “hunter” puts a bullet in the animal, while it’s caged and in that condition and then poses with the carcass as if some big victory of man over nature, some feat of stealth and cunning just took place. It didn’t. The only demonstration that was made was a display of cowardice and conspicuous wealth. That’s the “victory.” And only other rich assholes, similarly situated, are impressed.
This is pretty much the same thing. A mural of George Floyd, on a brick wall, was destroyed by lightning, and Junior is seeing biblical import in it, because of course he is. The building itself was sturdy and withstood the lightning strike, the facade was not and it crumbled.

That said, objectively speaking, given his history I’m not sure turning him into a deity and a role model for our children is exactly the right idea either.
Also please don’t tell me they’re not trying to turn him into a role model/hero there’s statues of him going up all over the country etc. etc. The same lunatics who want to erase our founding fathers want statues of this man all over the place. He speaks of “turning him [Floyd] into a deity and a role model for children is not a good idea.” But doing the same thing with his asshole father is a good idea, right?
And he goes on to give “expert” testimony about a brick wall “not a conductor of electricity.” Nobody said it was, doofus. Local people determined the facade didn’t have the structural integrity to withstand the lightning strike.
In all events, the mural will be back, probably on a stronger surface and Junior will move on to other events in life and lend his moronic comments to them.

There used to be a theory, not strictly Biblical bt kind of arising out of Biblically narrated events, that, when Adam and Eve sinned, the “dominion over earth” which God had given thim earlier left them and passed to Satan. It can be found alluded to in theories of “the spheres” – the idea that God has dominion over all the spheres but the inmost one, ours, and Satan has dominion over everything under that sphere.
