You may recall that Mary Trump informed us a while back that Donald Trump processes his feelings via social media. He was in quite the process last night and into the early hours, with takedowns of “Marjorie Traitor Brown” and kvetching about the Epstein files. It’s now a foregone conclusion that the files will finally be released and pundit Ron Filipkowski is opining that maybe Pam Bondi has them sufficiently scrubbed for release. Let us look at Trump’s recent meltdown and try to make hide or hair of it. Daily Beast:
President Donald Trump has thrown up his hands in the looming House vote to release the Epstein files.
Trump called on GOP lawmakers to vote in favor of a measure to release federal investigation files related to the shadowy pedophile Jeffrey Epstein after several Republicans signaled their intent to support the effort.
“House Republicans should vote to release the Epstein files, because we have nothing to hide, and it’s time to move on from this Democrat Hoax perpetrated by Radical Left Lunatics in order to deflect from the Great Success of the Republican Party,” he wrote in a Truth Social screed on Sunday.
Kentucky Republican Thomas Massie and California Democrat Ro Khanna secured all 218 signatures they needed last week—only four from Republicans—to force a House vote on the release of the Epstein files.
Several other Republicans have since indicated that they would vote in favor of that measure once it reaches the House floor, which sources told CBS News could come as soon as Tuesday.
Trump then went on about the “great success” by publishing a piece on the “golden age” we’re currently in, with inflation spiking, layoffs soaring and over 1.1 million jobs lost since Trump took office — and that’s an estimate because remember, we live in a world where the Bureau Of Labor Statistics is in blackout mode. Not a good way to do business, a phantom and invisible economy.
Layoffs are up twenty percent. But his is the golden age, friends. I would hate to see what a dark age looks like if this one is golden.
Trump went on with his binge posting for a while but you have the gist of it here. He can’t fight the release of the Epstein files any longer. But who knows? They may be sufficiently sanitized by now.
It has taken a while, but it seems based on last night’s post by Trump that Bondi now has the Epstein files sufficiently scrubbed for release.

Whether they’re scrubbed or not they’re coming. And since Trump is so incensed and upset and attempting to argue how this is all a “distraction” from the “golden age” I’m wondering just how scrubbed they will be. I guess we’re going to find out soon enough.
That was my first thought when I heard his turnabout on the files. They must have purged him out of the files enough to protect him. Golden age? Hardly. One of the darkest, sickest times in American history.
He thinks it’s a ‘golden age’ because he’s stuck acres of the stuff to walls all over the White House.
Ok, if these companies have invested trillions, where are the factories being built? All I can tell is they are building data centers for AI and that doesn’t seem to produce a lot of jobs. At least Biden got chip manufacturing started.
I mentioned in a post of my own that while former AG Bill Barr was formidable and worse, wickedly capable he’d buried Trump’s Epstein related files. Every bit as effectively as he’d buried the involvement of Bush 41’s involvement with Iran Contra. Barr however was old school enough not to go destroying evidence. Team Trump and Bondi in particular however are NOT models of competence and know how. For all the time that’s been taken to scrub Trump’s name or at least anything that showed him in a bad light Bondi is no Bill Barr and the minions aren’t Barr’s trusted staff. Odds are there will be things they missed or their efforts in some cases will be so clumsy and bumbling that it will make Trump (and Bondi and Patel) look that much worse.
