Standing together on a set at waterheaded-baby Charlie Kirk’s Hullabaloo themed Turning Point USA production in Phoenix yesterday, GOP political pipsqueaks Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz, while shining on the ostentatious leader of their party and his desire to further debase the Presidency, at the same time openly defied him on policy – i.e. elected Kevin McCarthy to the House Speaker position – whilst also openly mocking him for his personnel selections – i.e. Jeff Sessions, James Mattis and Rex Tillerson (who were not, by a long ways, drumpf’s worst picks) – demonstrated just how far the Orangeutan has fallen in the esteem of his once rabid MAGA base that even two lightweights like these could take cheap shots at him.
Trump is rapidly becoming the Rodney Dangerfield of the Republican Party… guess Gaetz really wanted that pardon.

My best guess is that they are in cahoots with the Rob DeSantis camp which probably means they think the Gropinfuhrer is toast just awaiting indictment.
They had better hope they are correct.
This is an unlikely pair. But hey, if they are going to piss in the GOP House soup and turn the awarding of the Speaker’s Gavel into a food-fight then who cares how they became allies?

If anybody knows about impending indictments at this point, it’d be Gaetz…just saying. And Boebert is looking for a new political sugar daddy to keep her viable.
The word indictments in your comment made a light bulb go off in my head. Gaetz has seemed to not kick up a fuss to losing the title of “Florida Man” (Flor-i-DUH!) to DeSantis and now I get why. Trump’ increasing legal woes, not to mention other issues that made many supporters know privately he’d never get back to the WH have caused many to speculate on who from the GOP would retake the Presidency. DeSantis has been on people’s lists for a couple of years now and he’s got a lot of cred with MAGA goobers. IF Trump were to step aside at least. His antics down there in FL seem to have been calculated to set himself up Trump’s VP, or if Trump wasn’t the candidate him being the MAGAs annointed one. Gaitz knows two things. HE will never be President. The second is that while he’s initially dodged a bullet he’s not out of the woods yet when it comes to his chasing underage females and transporting them hither and yonder for (paid) sex. Trump didn’t give him the pardon he asked for, but by going all in on DeSantis early on he can make his case to ole Ron why he should get one! Hell, I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised to someday learn that deal has already been made. Of course, it’s a fools bargain because I don’t think DeSantis will play anywhere near as well outside FL as DeSantis (and Gaetz) thinks will be the case. Rnn might not even get the nomination, but even if he does he’ll get whomped in the general election. Right about when Gaetz might really, REALLY be needing that pardon.
Good to see someone else remember Matty Boy’s legal woes, none of which have gone away (a lesson to also apply when it comes to Trump but I digress). And DeathSantis (or as my mom calls him these days, “Sanchez”) is likely going the way of Jeb once he gets past the Florida state line.
