Y‘know, this man makes it far too easy to write about him because there is SO MUCH STUPIDITY to use. Today? It’s pushing the H-1B visa. Again. He thinks this should be expanded so we can pull in more talent. More non-American talent, that is. E-yawn wants to pull in more talent for all his companies, along the lines of what he’s already done, if not more. Silly me, I thought he built things with AMERICAN talent. It’s hurtful and embarrassing to find out I was wrong. Ouch. But I digress. Let’s follow this a little further.

Moving along, the Cheez-Whiz Traitor Tot has made an interesting choice for an AI advisor by the name of Sriram Krishnan, who is an aggressive advocate of expanding the H-1B numbers to allow more people to come into and stay in the good ole’ US of A. Again, more non-American talent, so companies can get the top skills of people from other countries and not use any of us. Some of the Orange Bonehead’s allies immediately raised alarms because it suppresses wages, is little more than indentured servitude operated by large corporations and, as I have already repeated more than once, takes jobs from Americans, which continues to irritate me.

But E-yawn continues to put this out there as a great tool for us to bring in top talent from all over the world to help businesses in need. It should be more like businesses in “need”. Then his buddy Rama-swampy chimes in and the pair of them denigrate the American people by saying they are too dumb, or poorly trained, or lazy (say the men who don’t actually HAVE to work anymore) and therefore we NEED the H-1B visa talent. I dunno about you folks but that goes beyond irritating and right into Pisses Me the EFFFFFF Off. The Muskrat is a naturalized citizen, although that’s in doubt, see my previous column here. Rama-swampy was the most emphatic about the belittling descriptions, which is interesting for a first-generation American billionaire whose contributions are valued by the AMERICAN NATION. What’s wrong with this picture?

But wait, it gets better! There are more than just the “smart people” H-1B visa holders in the country. The official limit is 85,000 visas … except there are exceptions for universities and non-profits and government positions, so THOSE are exempt from the cap. There are likely millions in our country at one time.

Forgive me for continuing to harp on this, but remember, Americans are stupid, and lazy, … and indentured servants are better? Again, I say, what’s wrong with this picture? *WE* have the TALENT that E-yawn and Vi-vi-vi-vi-VI-vek are just too damn *lazy* and *stupid* to LOOK FOR. Interesting when you view it that way, right?

Seems the Mango Messiah likes to surround himself with sycophants and loyalists which could turn around and bite him at any time. Once everyone (please no Tulsi, no Pete, no Kash) is officially into the cabinet positions, what’s to prevent THEM from making use of TRUMP to get what THEY want, and if the two don’t agree on something, well, too bad? Elon is pretty easy. He’s got himself in good so he can support all his companies and ambitions with that lovely government money. Vivek wants to be President (please, by all that’s holy, HELL NO) Well, Vivi baybee, you’re going to have to wait. Your DOG-e is OUTSIDE government so it’s going to be really interesting to see you try to get into government in a way that puts you in line for the American throne. Don’t get your hopes up.

Mr. Mush and Mr Ramaswampy want all that lovely UN-AMERICAN talent that costs less to finance for work here. Apparently, the USA *still* has enough at a good rep that people want to come and work here. That H-1B visa is a golden ticket to someone who wants to escape somewhere badly enough that they don’t read the fine print and then, well, they’re stuck, and who knows for how long. How many visa holders are actually going to be *happy* here? Yet another interesting thought… just like lazy, stupid and poorly trained, because they don’t (or won’t) look in the right places in America for AMERICAN talent. And that? It just shows their blindness.

    • Well, that’s not so much “lazy” or “stupid” as much as it is CHEAP.

Remember: One of the Muskrat’s first tasks when he took over Twitter (even before “rebranding” it to “X”-rated) was to pretty much dump the majority of the folks who actually made the site work. EVERY bit of media–whether the internet’s pet “social media” or the old-fashioned TV and film and newspapers/magazines–requires people working pretty much behind the scenes or out of the public eye to keep that media functioning properly. Cable companies have large numbers of employees who perform customer service of several varities, some of whom are seen (sales people who actually create a person’s account or service techs who visit customers having trouble with their service) and a lot who aren’t (and some who are kind of seen like the repair crews who restore service after major storms knock out the systems). With TV and film, you obviously have the talent in front of the camera but you also have the directors and show producers and camera folks and people whose names you’ll see in credits but probably never actually see (with local TV newscasts, there used to be a tendency to show many, or even all, of these “invisible” people at the holiday season, smiling and waving at the cameras pointed at them; sometimes, they’d have their kids and spouses making a big kind of Christmas card for the TV audience).
And with online social media? Oh, they need as many people as they can get to handle all the issues. It’s relatively easy to put robots in a factory to put together cars and trucks but social media can’t just get by with that much automation; real people are needed to deal with user complaints (“Why was my account blocked?” and “Why is such-and-such account being allowed to post such hate-filled content?” can’t exactly be dealt with by AI–users aren’t likely to appreciate a bunch of “form letters” that don’t address their actual problems). And real people are needed to make sure the servers are functioning properly and to resolve issues like system crashes. And, right after Musk got rid of all those employees, Twitter suddenly started behaving like it was brand-new system in Beta testing (with a bunch of morons handling the start-up).
