Hmmm. An interesting thought, yes? Is Massie doing something in 2028? That could be entertaining, to say the least. It’s only 2 years and 6 months away. The question is, how is he going to do this? Is he going to stay with the conspiracy theories, or work for the good of the country? Who knows, but he’s looking at it. My compliments to Raw Story:

Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) signaled he could be considering a political comeback just days after losing his primary election to a President Donald Trump-backed challenger, according to reports on Monday.

Yes, it’s true. Massie is already thinking ahead. It makes you wonder if anyone else who has lost their primary is doing the same thing. We know of only three who lost at this time, but only Massie is looking ahead to 2028. You have to give the man points for courage, at the very least. He stood up to Trump and is still doing so. Massie is not “down and out”. He’s dusted himself off and continued thinking. There are several things he could do, and he still has months in which to get things done. Let’s hope he votes *against* the billion-dollar ballroom. So sick of that thing. May it never be built.

Massie has been an outspoken critic of Trump and announced in a post on X that he filed paperwork with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) for the 2028 election, The Hill reported.

Oops. Should have read further ahead before discussing what he was going to do. Ah, well. He’s filed to run in 2028. We don’t know what for. We would expect him to be considering what’s available. This is not a subject with much information. The President is obvious. Not sure he is balanced enough for that. Massie likes his conspiracies. If he could get past those, then he might be balanced after all. But there are two and a half years until then, so we don’t want to put the cart before the horse.

I filed with FEC for the 2028 House race. This allows me to raise funds to continue my political operations supporting my position as a current office holder and as a potential candidate for federal office. I haven’t made a final decision about which office to seek, if I run,” Massie wrote.

Oops again. Taking the article I’m quoting a little bit at a time has made me realize that I really should read the whole thing first. I most certainly need to keep that in mind. So, Kentucky might have Mr. Massie running again in 2028. But we have to remember not to anticipate. We’ll see as the days go by. In the meantime, let’s hope he raises hail about things like the damn ballroom and the slush fund, etc. Someone needs to stand up with “our” people. Trump is so blatant about all his baloney that we need people to fight back.

I apologize for this one not being up to my usual standards. I’m dealing with an issue, and no, there isn’t going to be a change in our household.

See you tomorrow!

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. All we’re asking for is the ability to continue our quest to tell the truth about Trump and help ensure democracy survives. If you can help, please do. Thank you. Ursula
