Politics is by definition about contention and strife but all I can tell you is that in the years I’ve observed the doings in the political arena, I have never, and I mean never, seen the level of not only partisan strife but infighting in both parties. Not even close. We are a warzone within a warzone. It’s like Chinese boxes or Russian dolls, you open one up and there’s another fighting faction within and you open that one up, same thing. Donald Trump is an agent of chaos and when he interacted with a broken Republican party, he began to sow acrimony within the party and then that grew to a divisiveness in the country not seen since the days of the Civil War.

Mike Pence does not like Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. and has taken a stance against his confirmation as head of Health and Human Services. If you’re too crazy for Mike Pence, you are crazy indeed and apparently Kennedy’s conspiracy theory claims about a connection between vaccines and autism, banning food additives and removing fluoride from water is a bridge too far for Mike Pence.

So Pence openly came out against Kennedy, who asked the FDA to nix vaccine making during the pandemic. So yes, friends, we have reached the point where Mike Pence is the voice of reason. Politics makes for strange bedfellows. But Pence is getting blow back from his own troops or former troops and that led to this hilarity.

Miller goes on to say how the “American people don’t care a single iota what Mike Pence has to say – he resoundingly lost to President Trump. Our country has moved on and it’s time he does too. He’s nothing but a footnote of American history.” Not a happy family, this group. Stephen Miller didn’t quit when asked, Michael Flynn didn’t want to but didn’t have much choice.

Now there is a debate about where Kennedy actually stands on vaccines. A spox for him says he does not want to take away the vaccines. Trump said Kennedy’s views on the vaccines were “not as radical” as people think. Nonetheless, Kennedy may soon be in charge of the department that oversees the agency he told to stop producing vaccines.

Vaccine skeptic and nominee to be Donald Trump’s secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., asked the Food and Drug Administration to pull authorization for all COVID-19 vaccines in May 2021, according to The New York Times.

Not only did RFK’s organization, Children’s Health Defense, want the vaccines pulled from the shelves, but they also wanted all future COVID-19 vaccines to be denied approval. […]

Now, Kennedy may be put in charge of the department that oversees the very FDA that initially dismissed his request months after he submitted it.

We live in a dangerous time in history. Somebody like RFK, Jr., an environmental lawyer with a propensity for conspiracy theories, should not be in charge of Health and Human Services — but then again a reported black out drunkard shouldn’t be in charge of the Department Of Defense, nor an election denier in charge of the Department Of Justice. We sit on the precipice of the confirmation of all three.

  1. According to one article, he did great damage in Samoa in his antivax activities, resulting in a measles outbreak that killed multiple children. He’ll kill more before he’s done. Seems to me the wrong Kennedys were shot. Before anyone gets their panties in a wad…please make the argument that killing children is ok…would love to hear that one. I bet if it were YOUR child you just might feel differently. Funny, I never weep over dead nazis. I do weep for dead children. Pence must have forgotten how he was responsible for the deaths related to HIV/AIDS when he was governor, and how Mr ‘christian’ stood by for the children separation at the border, the million plus dead from covid, and so on. For the life of me I’m still perplexed how someone who believes there’s a divine being keeping track of EVERYTHING is going to let that EVIL pass…oh…wait…he, the speaker, and the rest are NONBELIEVERS and LIARS. Nevermind. I just answered my question.
