There’s an old saying, attributed to philosopher Eric Hoffer, and it’s a restatement of something he once said. The saying is, “Every great cause starts out as a movement, becomes a business and eventually degenerates into a racket.” We are seeing that happen with democracy, even as we speak. It most assuredly started out as a movement. Inarguably, people began to abuse the purity of the original concept and yes, it became a business. But now, the holding of political office is clearly a racket. At least if you have an R behind your name.
Here is the latest on Ronny Jackson.
Ronny Jackson has been unanimously referred to the House Ethics Committee today after a finding was made he improperly used campaign funds to pay for his membership in the ‘Amarillo Club’. https://t.co/BUJLPgpZZH pic.twitter.com/hOXHcetbs9

Ronny can’t make it on $174K, plus the best health care available in the country. That’s not enough. He needs to raise more. This came out just a few hours ahead of the ethics investigation.
I went to this and it turned out to be a solicitation to send Ronny money. Shocker. pic.twitter.com/BS24yTwuJr

That’s right, MAGAs, line Ronny’s hand with currency and he’ll go play physician with Joe Biden. Like the regular White House physician can’t do it, he needs this drunken buffoon to take care of business.
I mean, you guys, c’mon, Ronny needs a club where he can have romantic evenings. Okay? Sheesh.
This Amarillo Club where their first claim is being a place for ‘romantic evenings’?
Sounds very political in a Trump kind of way… pic.twitter.com/lTdqC0vw9C

The Republican party is dedicated to using public office as a license to steal. End of story.

Aww – ease up on the poor guy. He doesn’t have enough campaign funds to pay for membership in Mar a Lago
