They’re not just coming out of the woodwork. They’re exploding out. It’s painful to realize people are so wrapped up in the lies and fanatic dedication that we don’t (can’t) understand. MAGA was bad enough. But it gets worse because of RWNJs. Limited vision. And they believe what’s in their small world is correct and won’t open their eyes to see the whole picture. Conservative pundit Walter Curt argued that President Donald Trump should invade Venezuela after the country’s president, Nicolás Maduro, sang John Lennon’s “Imagine” as a call for peace. “I believe that an attack on a drug cartel stronghold on the ground in Venezuela is imminent,” Real America’s Voice host Jake Novak told Curt on Monday before playing a clip of Maduro singing a line from “Imagine.” “Let it be known across the world, though, that a sure way to provoke military action is to sing John Lennon’s ‘Imagine,’ which I think is actually necessary,” Curt argued. “The moment I saw this, but whenever this first came out, I said, all right, double the bounty, send the Marines.”
Huh? Where did he come up with *that*? Singing a song means immediate attack? And why is that particular song a bad one? It’s a peace song, but Mr Curt thinks we should attack immediately. You would think that it should be exactly the opposite. Maduro and Venezuela don’t want a war. They would much rather work together than be at odds with the US. They are a democracy. They are not dictators. Why in the hell is this happening?
“I think there’s a major play we’re making down there for the entire region by going out of Venezuela,” he noted. “Everyone seems to forget that Venezuela also has, you know, the world’s largest oil reserves.” “But, you know, any time you’re singing John Lennon’s ‘Imagine,’ I think you should immediately be invaded by the Marines, paratroopers. Send ’em all.”
That’s excessive, stupid, and ridiculous! Unarmed boats of “narco terrorists” are getting blown out of the water nearly every day. We have been given no proof of what was happening with them. It could very well have been people fishing to feed their families. And if they’ve been killed, well, that’s one helluva loss. It’s surprising that anyone goes out on the ocean at all these days. There are going to be problems for Venezuela. If there’s a war, homes and lives will be lost. But this guy is almost unbelievable and thinks we should send in the military in, and wipe them out, because of a *song*. We should get together and tap him with a Clue Bat, because he doesn’t have a single clue. What is it with these people? War is expensive and not helpful. Period.
