Our bases in the Middle East are being targeted by Iran. Iran’s infrastructure is being targeted by US missiles. Killing civilians and civilian infrastructure is illegal. But then, this whole war has been illegal. Our allies are going to be pulling away from us very soon. And it’s all because of Trump, although Hegseth may have played a part in getting Trump to go to war. And we hope the ICC (International Criminal Court) is watching all these civilian and infrastructure hits, because this is just … we’ll use nonsense because anything pertinent is a much more crass expression and I’ve been cursing a little bit *too* much lately. As the deeply unpopular U.S. war against Iran heated up, claiming the lives of at least two U.S. service members on Friday, President Donald Trump was spotted at one of his golf clubs on Saturday, sparking outrage among critics. Trump was spotted at the Trump National Golf Club in New Jersey on Saturday, per reporting from The Daily Beast, and the White House has repeatedly delayed its press pool call for reporters, “suggesting damage control behind the scenes.”
It needs more than damage control. The strikes are increasing. We’re targeting infrastructure, and that’s off-limits. You don’t want to hit civilians, and you don’t want to take away the things they need, like food, water, and shelter. Since we’re doing that to Iran, they are doing the same thing to the countries that are our allies, although that is getting precarious day by day. Something else we do not need to happen is to lose our allies. We’re supposed to help them out a bit, and that is quite the opposite of what is actually happening. We can be sure those countries know *exactly* why they are being attacked. And Trump is golfing.
At the same time, the United States ramped up its attacks on Iran, with U.S. Central Command announcing a new wave of strikes Saturday evening, which it said were designed to “punish Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps forces who launched attacks against American service members in Jordan last night.” For Trump to be spending Saturday at his luxury golf club left several onlookers enraged.
They are not the only ones. Many of us are enraged, too, with a ‘president’ who lied about America First and then sent us into a war. We knew any number of things he said were lies, but this is a doozy! This whole thing has been a disaster from the get-go. A full-scale assault on Iran does what, exactly? How did they plan for regime change and only a certain amount of enriched uranium for medical uses? If they figured they could throw bombs at Iran until they asked for a cease-fire, they were sadly mistaken and delirious. There wasn’t a plan. There isn’t a plan. And Trump is golfing.
“Trump at his golf club as soldiers die in his zero IQ war that he’s already lost,” wrote progressive commentator Kyle Kulinski in a social media post on X to his nearly 560,000 followers. //// The progressive media organization MeidasTouch criticized Trump for “enjoying the amenities of his Bedminster golf club” while “our troops get killed overseas,” and liberal commentator and influencer Brian Krassenstein didn’t mince words with a particularly scathing condemnation of the president. “Two Americans are dead. Trump is at his Bedminster golf club mingling with wealthy customers,” Krassenstein wrote in a social media post on X to his nearly 1 million followers. “This comes after repeated claims that Iran’s military had been ‘destroyed’ – yet U.S. forces are still being targeted by ballistic missiles and drones. Americans deserve answers.”
Oh, hail yes, we deserve answers! We lost two more service members, and a third is missing, which does not bode well. We need to know what happened to the MOU that our people worked so hard for. We need to know why we’re launching another full-scale attack after we’ve already burned through a billion dollars PER DAY on previous attacks! What do we have left … anything? Because just a month or so ago, there was a discussion of how much of our munitions we have burned through. We can’t have churned more missiles out *that* fast. And Trump is golfing.
