When voting day is made a national holiday, no employer can ask an employee to work that day for any reason, everybody is registered. plenty of transportation to get people to the polls is available AND plenty of ballot places and no long lines — great. Then let’s talk. I’m all for it, when these conditions are met.

I have looked for video to see if J.D. Vance spoke at the rally and I can’t find any. The reason this is relevant is because the Vance endorsement is the latest flash point in the Republican civil war. Newsweek:

The AP also reported that Ohio’s right-wing tea party movement, which generally supports Trump, plans to stage a protest outside the rally.
“For him to endorse J.D. Vance really seemed like President Trump was out of touch with what’s going on in Ohio and what his supporters here want,” Zawistowski said. […]

“Ohio Value Voters urges Ohioans to boycott the Trump Rally in Delaware County this Saturday, April 23rd. However, it you decide to attend, when President Trump introduces J.D. Vance, make your voices heard by letting Trump know, J.D. Vance is Wrong for Ohio,” the group stated. “Booing is entirely appropriate!”
That should give you a clue of sentiment in the Buckeye state. I simply assume that Peter Thiel wrote a big enough check to Trump to make it worth his while.

Shake hands with the air and take advice from the Easter Bunny? I can’t help but wonder if some aide edited Biden’s head on to Trump’s fat-ass body doing that shit and Trump thinking it was real! And handshakes – I can see Trump “missing” when he reaches out to shake hands with someone. Probably too busy trying to find himself in a mirror or some other surface that reflects. I also remember his asshole trick of trying to embarrass and/or intimidate other world leaders by, when they’d reach out to shake hands grabbing their hand and yanking them towards him. Literally throw them a bit off balance. Like I said, an asshole thing to do.
However I also remember Canadian PM Justine Trudeau being ready for that shit and embarrassing TRUMP! As he reached out with his right hand he put his left on Trump’s shoulder and pushed back – and Trump wasn’t able to yank him off balance. Being much younger and stronger as Trump tried Trudeau easily matched the force – and in the process left a clear unspoken message that HE could easily let go and TRUMP would be the one off balance, stumbling backwards. Others I think caught on and Trump cut back on that little trick. But with “Melanie” standing right there looking at ole Justin with dreamy eyes (man weren’t those some pics that sent Trump through the roof!) it had to be a particularly humiliating moment for him.
I had heard about a photo-shoped video that showed President Biden shaking hands with no one, and wandering around dazed. I was unable to find such a video. It does sound like something that a MAGAt might try to do to discredit our President…Or something that Traitor Tot might hire someone to do…

Here is an edited video showing ‘lost’ Biden. So, Obama spoke at the WH a couple of weeks ago. (It may have been Easter) Obama spoke first and called Biden ‘Vice President Biden’ as a joke. Biden spoke 2nd and after speaking, Biden turned to HIS right. As he did, everyone on his right turned to their left and went over & swarmed Obama. Biden expected someone to be there and had started to stick out his hand to shake someone’s hand, but everyone had gone over to talk to Obama. Biden turned and saw everyone talking to Obama, laughed and then deliberately went to shake hands with the non existent people. And thus, ‘shook hands w/ air’. It would be VERY easy to edit to make Biden look ‘lost’. Of course that was not the case.
So, hugging and kissing a flag is normal behaviour?
