Another day, another fantastic headline. I don’t know how The Onion stays in business. We put a lot whackier stuff up on this site and none of it is satire. That’s the scary part. It’s real. As you probably have heard by now, Kevin McCarthy was finally forced to come out from behind the pile of chopped wood in the basement, where he had retired to last week, with a sleeping bag, a case of beer, and eight boxes of Kleenex, where he proceeded to binge listen to “It’s My Party and I’ll Cry If I Want To.” (“Nobody knows where my Donnie has gone and Mitch, he left the same time…..”)

So, that ladies and gentlemen, is Exhibit “A” to the proposition, “the GOP has rotted to the core and like a log in the same condition, has split down the middle and lies in splinters in the field.” Great freshman congress critter and Speaker rapport. You gotta love it.
What did you expect McCarthy to do? After all, he has to retain his worshipping privileges with the Orange Oracle at the Mar-a-Lago temple. And he just bought a new set of knee pads, too.
This bounced off Greene. She’s playing the game from out of bounds, just like her idol before her, and she’s going to stay there. She’s also a narcissist and she loves this attention. Meanwhile, all McCarthy does is prove on any given day how utterly out of his depth he is.
Maybe it will come down to Jack Dorsey doing for us what our elected officials refused to do, and throwing her off the Twitter platform. In a day and age where holocaust denial is becoming one of the top ranking conspiracy theories, this has no place. This only serves to trivialize and whitewash the event.
The GOP is a house of wayward children and there are no adults to guide them.
I feel like there’s a media dilemma with MTG. Clearly she’s desperate for attention. On the one hand, giving her attention probably hurts conservatism. On the other, she’s not worth paying attention to.
I feel like there are hundreds of good people in Congress working hard for their constituents, and every time we read another MTG piece we’re passing on an opportunity to hear about real politicians doing real work.
Careful prom queen…the weenie, formerly known as Kevin mccarthy, will put u on double secret probation. Wonder how many times we, as a species, have to plumb the depths of our depravity, before we figure out how to accept reality, & learn United we stand, divided we fall?
