A little late, but still entertaining. It seems that there are quite a few Pentagon workers who think Petey Boy is a disaster, and there is a line out the door and halfway around the building of people who will happily spill the beans with all sorts of information. Come on down, folks, because we’d love to hear it!
Hegseth is not well liked. If anything, he’s overwhelmingly DIS-liked. He still has the assumption that he can be a prima donna. No. Not just no, but HELL NO. He’s not on Fox News. He is supposed to oversee the military. Instead, he’s trying to make it over in his own image. He’s tearing more apart than he is improving. The list is just getting started.
He is not the Secretary of “War”. He is the Secretary of Defense. There’s no such thing as a title ending with “war”. But he continues to strut around like a bantam rooster cosplaying at war. He can’t see how disgusted most of the world is with him. He’s a pretender. He has a good act, but we can see beneath it to the man who is desperate to prove he belongs in his position.
He’s screwed up a number of times, starting with SignalGate 1 and II. That’s just the beginning. It seems there is more than what has been discovered thus far, although the article did not list specifics. He has made enemies among career Pentagon officials. That was not a good thing to do. Career officials know a helluva lot more than he does because they don’t cosplay. They *work*, and the work means something to them.
If (when?) Democrats take the House, there are many people who are going to hold him accountable for what he has done to the military. We haven’t seen all of it. We can’t have seen all of it when there’s an estimate of how many people want him done and gone. Some think he’s a threat to national security. We can’t argue with that after the Signal mess. There are a bunch of motives people have for bringing information to the U.S. House Armed Services Committee.
There will also be leaks. Lots and lots of leaks. Remember Hegseth’s paranoia and making random people take a lie detector test? One could expect that some of those people would love to see him taken down. That was not a good idea on his part. It was over the top, ridiculous, and insulting. When he made a general take the test, he should have been slapped instead.
Don’t forget the bullshizzle with boats near Venezuela. Narco-terrorists, my arse. Sinking them with our high-tech weaponry was … well, let’s just say unfair and leave it at that, except for the double-tap on survivors. You don’t just kill them. It doesn’t work that way unless you’re Petey Boy. He wasn’t listening to anyone’s screaming. He was the big leader of the military, killing people who had no defense. That was plain wrong, although another word beginning with an ‘ m would be more appropriate.
Hegseth is in trouble when we take the House. If we also take the Senate, if we flip Congress, Hegseth had better watch out. He is not liked. He is not respected. He will be embarrassed when people start coming forth to the Armed Services Committee. He will be embarrassed by leaks. And if enough crap comes out about him, Trump may get rid of him for us. Sounds fun!
