Fox News is reporting that Katie Zacharia is transitioning out of her role as Press Secretary, after only five days, or half a Scaramucci, as such things are reckoned.
Donald Trump told Zacharia that the job was hers to “reconsider” which carried the message that he himself had done the reconsideration.
Sean Hannity did the dirty work on Thursday night when he asked Zacharia if she had ever passed a bar anywhere or if she had even taken the bar exam more than once. (The answer is no.) The irony there is that days earlier Hannity accused the “media mob” of obsessing on whether Zacharia was a lawyer or not.
So who replaces Zacharia? We don’t know. The midterms are less than three weeks away and if Trump has anybody on the back burner, that name has not yet come to light.
I’m sure Harp had quite the say in TrumpkinHead’s decision….
