The New York Times is reporting that Maria Bartiromo has abruptly left Fox News. That has led to speculation as to whether she would take over Karoline Leavitt’s post. No reason is given for the abrupt departure after 12 1/2 years at Fox. Bartiromo’s show will be Mornings With FOX Business and a rotating group of hosts will man it.
Asked if Maria Bartiromo could be the next press secretary:

Your guess is as good as anybody’s. One thing is certain, Bartiromo would be far from the last person at Fox News to end up with a post in the Trump administration. It is plausible that she could become the next Karoline Leavitt.
