Greetings, all. I figured I could do a short and sweet column about today, Trump’s one-year disgust-a-versary. At 2 pm today, people will be walking out, just as it sounds, across the US, to protest against fascism and Trump. And it’s not just job related. There is so much more to this. We are protesting Trump. We are protesting his ‘cabinet’. We are protesting against fascism and all that goes with it. We are doing so because we need to, before things get so bad that we can’t.

It’s time to Walk Out America. We need to save ourselves, because there’s no one who can do it for us. Peaceful protesting for now, and hopefully, into the future. Our country has gotten frightening. We see brutality every damn day. What happened to “land of the free, home of the brave”? What happened to the US? We don’t accept people from out of the country at all anymore, unless they’re willing to pay a sickening amount of money. It’s pure extortion. Has everyone forgotten this country was built because of migrants?
It’s time to Walk Out America. If they don’t, won’t, listen, we’ll show them, those who would keep us beaten down. Trump and his “cabinet” won’t win. We are not afraid, some of us less than others. Some of us cannot Walk Out because the alternative is nothing: no rent, no utilities, no food. But we can walk out for them.
