So, here we are. With a full court press coming with respect to lining up the parameters of a pardon coming for Ghislaine Maxwell, the response seems to be the long-awaited leaks within the government that oversaw both the investigation and the files. We find now that CBS News has determined that the government is actually in possession of video from Epstein’s cell that doesn’t have a full missing minute. At the very least, it shows that the government is playing games with the subject matter – at the very least. But all of this needs a setup.

With reports out that Maxwell is seeking a pardon or commutation in exchange for Congressional testimony, Trump now has a path to at least nab some of the powerful caught up in the Epstein net, feeding his base, while also nakedly signing off on testimony that will likely clear him – or, at the very least, go right around his role. Just as predicted, we now see the response, people on the inside, willing to spill the real contents of the election, all in the face of a power play like few others.

As most know, the FBI released video of the night that Epstein died but the video contained a missing minute – 11:59 (A real oddity to be right on the date change), and one presumes that it is possible for professionals to grab control and break a neck within the minute – we presume it’s possible, it is one explanation for retaining the missing minute. From a report in CBS News:

A government source familiar with the investigation says the FBI, the Bureau of Prisons and the Department of Justice inspector general are all in possession of a copy of the video that does not cut from just before 11:59 p.m. to midnight of the night Epstein died by suicide in his cell.

What is unclear is why that section was missing when the FBI released what it said was raw footage from inside the Special Housing Unit the night Epstein died, Aug. 9-10, 2019. The recording came from what officials said was the only relevant video camera that was recording its footage in the unit. This video has been cited by multiple government officials as a key piece of evidence in the determination that Epstein died by suicide.

The "missing minute" from the surveillance video at the Manhattan Metropolitan Correctional Center where Jeffrey Epstein died in 2019 may not be missing after all, CBS News has learned.Release the video footage NOW!

There is – obviously – one reason to hold back the minute, it would be that the minute shows something that cannot be shown, a minute in which people enter and exit the cell. Though retaining the video isn’t proof that someone went in, it is proof that the government intentionally held it back. Again, so little matters anymore that one can almost envision Trump saying, “Yes, we held back one minute because it contains controversial material,” which would lead most to say, “Then why issue anything?” At which point the conversation likely ends. Would that be enough to get Congress to impeach Trump? The man attacked the Capitol – it would seem that nothing matters anymore. The report goes on:

Attorney General Pam Bondi was questioned about the gap during a July 8 Cabinet meeting with President Trump. She said the missing minute was the result of a nightly reset of the video that caused the recording system to miss one recording minute every night, and attributed that information to the Bureau of Prisons.

I am simply not buying it, and I am not a conspiracy theorist. I would want to see the entire month before and see if the video resets every night. And, if it does, I would want to know if people can go in during that period unseen, and who might know of such a system. Either way, it just doesn’t pass the smell test. The one minute per day (As the story goes) is also a minute in which no one is on duty? It is the one period at night at which Epstein died? At the very least, it requires an explanation as to whether this happens all the time or not.

But Bondi’s excuse doesn’t hold up if the government is in control of that minute. If others come out affirming that the video exists, Bondi has to explain the motivation to lie – extremely difficult. Now it begins to sound like a true conspiracy theory, except that it’s true that they keep lying about it. It is also true that there is an obviously compelling explanation- Trump is to blame.

It is not proven, but that is the point. We know that many agents worked on the investigation. It would be a good bet that none of them like the resolution in this matter if Trump and others skate away free. Thus it is that the anticipated leaks seem to be springing. First the Wall Street Journal, and now this.

Look for them to keep coming. At that point, it is wholly up in the air as to what happens next.

  1. When I read the headline, I thought leaks spring eternal. In this case, they just might and that would be good for the truth to come out.

  2. Hey wicked witch of the photoshop lab…all the lying you’ve done to date…now we’re supposed to trust you. Yeah. Right.

  3. Two things. First, what you note DOJ claims about that being the only ‘relevant’ video. If there’s other video that’s a nothingburger why not release that too? I don’t trust this DOJ one bit. Second, to answer your question yes it’s possible for a person(s) with knowledge of that part of the prison, the layout of a cell AND with whatever a legitimate guard would need to enter the cell for legitimate purposes to enter the cell, break Epstein’s neck (far enough up to be fatal) and wrap a cheap ass sheet around it to make it look like suicide. A bit of rehearsal and it would take less than thirty seconds. PLENTY of time. For a pro waiting around until Epstein had no pulse wouldn’t be necessary. Knowing how to cause the break and experience would tell them from the sound and feel as they did it whether they’d gotten the job done right. Ergo no need to wait around. Even one guy (or gal) could do it although if it was murder it was probably a team of two to ensure they’d be in and out in less than a minute if they knew that was their window of time. Ten to fifteen seconds to get in and get him in the “hold”, two or three seconds to break his neck and ten seconds to wrap the sheet and position the body. If they were rehearsed on who would do what. Yes, it could be done in as little as a half minute and wouldn’t take anywhere near a full minute.

    • Maybe Dexter, who was skilled at covering up murder, came off the fictional screen to seal that portal of salacious sex and powerful boys…er…men. The truth will never see the light of day.

  4. What could be a better way of guaranteeing a leak than to recruit 1000 new witnesses, who’ve all sworn an oath to the constitution, to review the voluminous evidence?

  5. The bed sheet, clothes, etc. are paper according to a former inmate I saw on someone’s podcast. Too, if a guard doesn’t check-in at the appropriate time they have a security alert. Then the broken neck is not consistent with hanging. Oh, the video was also tampered with in other ways according to some specialist. Don’t feel like looking up all the citations for this, but be my guest.
