It’s a tragedy that the Republican party has fallen to this. I have been friends and neighbors with and done business with normal, sane Republicans my entire life — in the Before Times, before Trump and his cult. It is childish in the extreme to insist on the *right* to mispronounce somebody’s name. I’ll tell you what Mace sounds like to me here. She sounds like college freshmen women who would tell me I didn’t know what I was talking about with respect to something controversial, the Vietnam war, for instance. They would bray ignorance, just like Mace is doing here. But in all fairness, they were 18 years old and out of the nest and parroting the views and attitudes of their parents. They didn’t have a lot of life experience, in other words.
Nancy Mace is 46 years old. She rode into Congress on Trump’s coattails in 2020, like Lauren Boebert. She’s a MAGA joke. She abased herself in 2022, standing outside Trump Tower in order to get the MAGA vote and she’s a slave to Trump. I guess if you want to hold office in South Carolina, that’s how it goes. Ask Lindsey Graham or Tim Scott.

And in all truth, the Harris/Walz ticket is generating such enthusiasm and the Trump backlash is so bad, Mace is not sitting as pretty as she was a mere six weeks ago or so when Joe Biden was at the top of the ticket.
We may prevail, red state or no. Wouldn’t it be grand if both Boebert and Mace didn’t get reelected? I’ll be happy to see one of them go. Again, the Harris/Walz ticket is a political and social phenomenon right now. It will translate to the down ballot and Mace, if she keeps looking this asinine, is not going to stroll to reelection, let’s put it that way.
If she so inept at pronouncing Kamala, perhaps in 77 days she will have less trouble saying President Harris.

If Nance-EYE Mace exemplifies the lack of character of a significant percentage of Citadel graduates, the institution needs to reevaluate curriculum and staff, Pronto!
