The way Norm Eisen sees it, one cannot assume the position of Trustee and Senior Vice President of a company and also state that you have no idea of the workings and finances of said company.
Which is exactly what Don Jr. did while testifying in New York state’s civil fraud case.
Seem that former White House ethics adviser in the Obama administration feels that Don Jr.’s flippant answers yesterday(that’s what we have CPA’s for…) will result in much harder sledding when he testifies again later today:
“Donald Trump Jr. is not able to pass off responsibility for understanding the Trump Organization’s finances onto other people, argued former White House ethics czar Norm Eisen on Wednesday’s edition of CNN’s “The Situation Room.”
This comes as the elder Trump son gives testimony in the civil fraud trial brought by New York State, which argues the Trumps systematically lied about their property valuations in order to get more favorable loan agreements and seeks $250 million in fines and the dissolution of the Trump Organization. During that testimony, he claimed he had no idea how the finances of the business work because “that’s what CPAs are for…
…Well, the center of the New York State case, Wolf, is that in his roles in the business and as a trustee of these enterprises, he can’t pass the buck completely,” said Eisen. “He has some legal responsibility to make sure they’re accurate.”
“Of course, we’ve seen a ton of evidence that they were not accurate,” added Eisen. “So I think today, New York State set him up. He was already visibly uncomfortable with some of the questions. We’re going to see the payoff tomorrow. Probably not so good for Trump Jr. or for the Trump family’s standing in this case.”
Video:
Yep. New York State set Jr. up by swearing him in and expecting that he tell the truth.
Because, as we all know, Team Trump can do nothing but lie. And no amount of makeup will hide that ugly truth:

Yup
Make-up would not cover up his hollow heart.

Nope.
He looks scared out of his wits. Trying to put on a brave facade. Scum!

Now do dad.
Junior had better tread lightly today, if he perjures himself again he just might buy himself a criminal charge…

Looking forward to the perjury charge lol!!!
Is he trying to make the defense of “I’m too stupid to know what I’m doing”?
I imagine that standard punishments for perjury in a trial can be rather brutal and with a Judge with a very limited sense of humor, may entail some heated vocabulary, ending with some trump’s getting their ass kicked …
