Remember when it was considered the classy thing for an American president to declare that he was the president for all Americans? This was usually declared right after the person won the election. That won’t be the case in 2024, nor was it in 2016, for that matter. We have a vengeful lunatic running for president. This is yet another case of first impression in the Trump saga. Before Trump we had two functioning political parties and the candidates of those parties differed on things, to be sure, but never did one of them vow to get rid of Americans he considered his enemies. But that very thing was said on Fox News today.

These were just a few clips from his interview. The interview has been criticized for being heavily edited. The thing is that Trump can’t be trusted in a live interview anymore. He’s too much of a loose cannon.

Bad Fox Graphics, which purports to provide a “collection of awkward images, clumsy captions, flawed headlines, & memorable moments as seen on the Fox networks,” also weighed in.
“When you fail to mic the interviewers, this is the crappy audio you get,” the account wrote. “Trump should be LIVID about the poor production value of this heavily edited [FOX & Friends Weekend] interview.”
Former prosecutor Ron Filipkowski had this to say:
“Fox and Friends has to tape and edit the hell out of Trump’s interview as usual,” he said. “They can’t go live with him anymore because he’s a deranged rambling mess, so they have to clean everything up as best they can with edits.
And you know his killer line of the day, when he denied that he was the originator of the “Lock Her Up!” madness and claimed that the crowds just used to say this.
Donald Trump is not a well man. But that doesn’t matter. The GOP has taken its stance. It’s going to lie through its collective teeth that Trump is a victim and a martyr and hope that there are enough stupid people in this country that they will put a convicted felon in the White House. That will be a new one in American history. But that’s the play, that’s what they’re trying to do.
And how far down the list of enemies will Trump go? Is Nosferatu Stephen Miller going to put people in internment camps? And how would that be determined? Is it enough to just be a registered Democrat or do you have to actually do something? Like show up on a leftist blog that calls Trump out for the unspeakable POS that he is?
I sincerely don’t know. And I can tell you, with equal sincerity, I hope I don’t find out.
