This piece is recognition and a little pain. We had supported Fetterman, *especially* against Dr. Oz (who is now destroying Medicare and Medicaid and making false accusations). We were pleased when he won, since he had overcome so much to get there. Somewhere since he started as a senator, he changed. He’s been moving more toward the Republican side of things, yet he claims to be a Democrat. That claim isn’t holding any water anymore.
He made a choice. He decided on campaign fundraising. He lost his mind. Because the group he’s working with now has strong affiliations with the other side, and not in a small way. It’s actually fairly major. It was so disappointing finding this out, and it hurt like a kick to the gut. Supporting someone through all he’s had to overcome, only to watch him get closer and closer to the other side, is painful. How did we misjudge him so completely?

John Fetterman’s political operation is offering conservative groups a hefty cut of donations to recruit new donors, according to an exclusive new report in The Atlantic that is drawing sharp criticism of the Pennsylvania Democrat. After Democratic fundraising firm MissionWired ended its work with Fetterman in June, his operation turned to a firm with MAGA-world ties, the report said. In a private message obtained by The Atlantic, a consultant offered conservative groups 75% of each recipient’s first donation. Fetterman’s new fundraising efforts circulated through operations with names including RedMajorities.com, TrumpTruths.org, and America1stWarRoom.com. One warned that socialists were “hijacking the Democratic Party.”
“His career as a Democrat is over. We didn’t push him away. He threw it away,” former Rep. Conor Lamb, who is considering challenging Fetterman in 2028, told The Atlantic. “He is the one who made a decision to do what Trump wanted instead of what Democrats wanted.”
It’s pretty much a fact of life that Fetterman is going to the dark side. It’s hard to see this change. He’s certainly not a Democrat anymore, if he ever really was. What can you say about something like this? How can you explain the pain and the sheer insanity of what he’s doing? It’s almost impossible because, as of right now, it doesn’t make any sense. What was offered to him to enable this change? What happened in the background that contributed to this?

Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that, of all the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest-working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except for one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love. I don’t know any facts of the matter, but I have heard that the R’s have fielded trojan horses.
People who run as dems and later, down the road, reveal themselves as actual R’s. He may be one of these. I’ve also heard that strokes can cause personality changes.
Trojan horses? Oooo, that’s ugly. That’s *really* ugly.
And yes, strokes can *definitely* cause a personality change. Absolutely positively. Certainly possible that’s what happened, although it took a while to kick in. Damn.
Actually, it is not possible to blame Fetterman’s altered state on his stroke. Think back to when he had his stroke – I can tell you because it happened during his campaign for the Senate. If you recall, he had trouble speaking in the debate that Oz insisted on, but he stuck with the campaign, and he deserved to win.
As a stroke sufferer myself, I can tell you for certain that damage caused by stroke is instant. There is no such thing as a delayed reaction of any kind. After a stroke, you slowly get better; you absolutely do not get worse. It’s medically impossible.
Now, think back to his first two years as a Senator. We were proud of him because he wasn’t afraid to speak plainly about the idiots on the Republican side. Remember that? I sure do.
It wasn’t until February/March 2025 that we began noticing a change – and it happened after he was summoned to Mar-a-Lago – remember that? What was the big news story at that time? Let me give you a hint: ICE. DOGE first, followed by ICE. Remember?
How much do you know about Gisele Fetterman, John’s wife? This is what I know. Her mother smuggled her and her younger brother into the US when Gisele was 8. In other words, she came into the country as an undocumented immigrant. Since the Trump regime and their ICE bullies do not recognise the legitimacy of citizenship if you enter the country “illegally”, then what do you suppose the Trump regime told John Fetterman in order to shut him up and force him to follow their orders in the Senate? While you’re thinking about that, keep in mind that the children of undocumented immigrants, regardless of their place of birth, are also treated as “illegals”. Now, what do you suppose they threatened John Fetterman with as soon as they realised Gisele’s original undocumented status?
Honestly, I am truly surprised at how few people worked it out. It seemed obvious to me from the beginning.

No, Fetterman is not a Trojan horse. Whoever is spreading that piece of fiction knows absolutely nothing about John Fetterman. I recommend you stick with the people who know Fetterman and understand the political corruption of the regime that isn’t running the country so much as ruining it. Learn everything you can about John Fetterman the man, especially about his wife and her background. Maybe, if you ask yourself the right questions, you’ll figure out the truth.
I am by no means defending this pig BUT! Strokes do strange things to people! I found my father having one, I got him to the hospital within the “golden hour”. The DR said I had saved his life, the reality is he died that morning! Although he was alive and breathing he was never the same man again! The wind had been knocked out of his sails! It was painful to have to deal with, as he was somebody I no longer knew! I did my best to just go along with him to get along. He died the morning I stepped in! I have wondered many times if I should have just let him go when he was trying to check out?
I am very sorry to hear about your father. My condolences on your loss; it is never easy. And please, no recriminations. You did your best, and your best was what love for your father demanded of you at the time. When next you find yourself wondering about it, tap yourself lightly on the forehead, then immediately recall a happy time you spent with your Dad. It sounds odd, but it works.
Your father’s case is very different to John Fetterman’s. Fetterman suffered his stroke in 2022, during his campaign for the Senate. However, it wasn’t until early 2025, some 2½ years after his stroke, that people began remarking that he was behaving differently. The difference could not have been caused by the stroke he’d suffered. It was caused by something that Fetterman had absolutely no control over. I hope Susan researches this and writes an article that explains what really happened to him.
