Where he says, “i’ve had a number of productive conversations,” the image I get is of Vinnie and Rocco standing over Kyle with a bone saw, and asking, “Before we start to tear you apart, do you want your kneecaps broken first, or shall we pull your teeth with pliers? We believe in choice.” Whatever the content of the productive conversation, Rittenhouse, who had “no takebacks” found a takeback.

In all reality, what was explained to the man was that he had one piece of bread and MAGA buttered it, and if he didn’t get with the program, he was going to have to find gainful, real world employment. Now, since all Rittenhouse has done since his murder acquittal is be an influencer and MAGA speaker and Twitter troll, that doesn’t add up to a lot of employment opportunities.
What I find hysterical and so does everybody commenting on this on Twitter, from both sides of the political spectrum, is the fact that we all understand this perfectly. What did Rittenhouse not understand? This is simply obvious.

Ron went from one write-in vote back down to zero and Rittenhouse used up what little leeway with these people that he may have had. Again, I marvel that after eating cheeseburgers at Mar-a-Lago with the Mango Messiah that he would jeopardize that. But the message there is that Kyle became convinced in the past few days that Trump cannot win. And so he wanted to get with the winning team.
We get that part of it. And Kyle is right, in fact. And the larger story here is that if Trump’s dyed in the wool, true red sycophants can doubt his ability to win, then you have prima facie evidence that the entire movement is shaken to its core.
Yes it is and that will only increase as the days tick by.
