I got this information from 3 different sources. One of the comments for the first one says it’s a fake. 2 and a half of the sources are reputable. So our half is Gizmodo, and our wholes are NBC News and the New York Times. Which is it, true or false?
Let’s see what this article says. Hmm, how about this? The U.S. Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, which is housed in the Department of Homeland Security, said in a statement that its “mission is to defend against all cyber threats to U.S. Critical Infrastructure, including from Russia. There has been no change in our posture.” But that’s *only* defense.
Supposedly our Secretary of Defense has ordered all offensive cyber and information operations against Russia to cease and desist. Whaaaaaat? Is this guy stupid or just plain nuts or both? We already know about his horrible background, but he got confirmed anyhow. We’ve already seen one picture where it looks like he has alcohol in his glass instead of water. He’s “just sipping” it. Mmhmmmm.
So, we have to go to defense only? This doesn’t make any sense. I don’t know what “offensive campaigns” look like but I’m pretty sure that would be part of our early warning system. Russia has been caught multiple times meddling in places they ought not be in the US. So now they can attack us with no fear of being caught? No fear of reprisal? Well, okay, we can no longer do things going out that benefit us in some way and have to go to defense only. Remember “the best defense is a good offense”??
Sooooo did Russia get to him too? We already know they got the Mango Messiah. So, it’s either they got to Hegseth somehow, or the word came down from on high to “stop doing things Russia won’t appreciate if we get caught because we are trying to make peace??”. Or both? This guy has no idea what he’s doing anyhow. Maybe he is mostly just telling the organizations under him the occasional thing to do (like this) and is mostly a figurehead to be the public face of defense, and sign things. He’s certainly not any sort of actual commander. But what can we expect of a Fox News host? His stint in the military really doesn’t count for much when you look at everything else he has done.
tRump’s entire cabinet is a disgrace, with the top idiots being Tulsi, RFK Jr, Hegseth, and Kristi. We know *how* they got there but what happened behind the scenes? Was Traitor Tot whispering threats in the ears of the committees and Senate? Was Muskrat trying to buy them off or was it “you’ll be primaried”? What a stupid way to say a threat. Remember, even Democrats couldn’t stop the confirmations. We only needed a few people to say no and Republicans wimped out. BOY did they wimp out. Even Mitch McConnell, who is retiring next year, said mostly yes and a little no when he could have done no to all instead of just a few. Why couldn’t the Senators who actually *think* about their states say no? Oops, I went sideways from Hegseth. Ahem.
I know ranting about it isn’t going to change anything but it makes ME feel better and I hope you folks do, too. I’m mostly good at that. The ranting, that is. See you on the next go round!

And Johnson is telling the troops to cancel town halls because the attendees are crisis actors or Democrats, as if being a Dem somehow makes one less of a constituent. They’re afraid of tbe people they represent.
