I hope you’ll all forgive me, but the GOP’s savage guerilla war on women’s reproductive rights has really been eating at me. And earlier tonight, I finally realized what has been eating at me. Monty Pythons Flying Circus perfectly encapsulated the GOP’s master plan some 40 years ago. Here it is
From 40 years ago, who KNEW how right on Monty Python would be? Apparently, the Republicans were in on the joke.
God help us.
The worst part is that if you played this during a GOP caucus meeting most of them would be thrilled and cheer their heads off because they wouldn’t realize it’s satire. A total send-up of their effed up efforts to think. (Kinda like them thinking The Flintstones was a documentary done up in cartoon form so the whole family could “learn” together!)
And why so many of them thought The Colbert Report was FOR them. “Republicans” can be SO clueless.
The monty python cast spent more time in drag than not. They were actually pretty misogynistic in that they never had any women in the core cast.
Connie Booth was in so many of the sketches, she might as well have been.
I have concerns about a group of perverts and pedophiles who take an interest in women’s reproductive rights.
These people should not be allowed near children or the law making process.
