Donald Trump is at the podium today in Tennessee. He’s speaking at a meeting of Faith & Freedom and he’s having a simply grand time. Stop what you’re doing and watch these clips. He is really on a roll today.

Trump is either so firmly entrenched in denial about the severity of his situation that he doesn’t know that what he’s doing by making admissions publicly is not going to help his case, or he doesn’t think there ever will be any consequences for his actions.

Maybe he’s right. Maybe the cliche nowadays “fuck around and find out” applies to the rest of us but not him.

Now pick your jaw up off the floor, because we have a lot of material to cover today. Here’s the next one. Trump says this without a trace of irony.

He’s on a tear today. Fact free, playing fast and loose with the truth. There is nothing new about that, but one would think that the fact that the January 6 Committee is presenting evidence against him which may result in a criminal indictment by the Department of Justice would have cooled his jets a little. Nope.

Now here’s a doozy. Trump is obsessed with crowd size, naturally, but this time Martin Luther King, Jr. gets dragged into it.

Happy Juneteenth, all you black MAGAs. Donald Trump feels your pain. If you believe that, you deserve whatever befalls you.

He’s got to defend his “special people” whom he “loves” right? You know the ones, the ones he incited to smash their way into the Capitol in search of his vice president, so they could kill him.

This is Trump making fun of impeachment. Again, the message is, “I can do anything I want, without consequence.”

There may be more clips of this to come. I’m going to post this now so that you see how somber and attentive to his legal plight that Donald Trump is.

I think the bottom line here is simple: He believes he’s bullet proof. He not only believes he can commit murder on Fifth Avenue without fear of reprisal, he believes he can stage a coup d’etat against the United States of America, equally without reprisal.

Maybe he’s right. We live in an age where a morally bankrupt GOP will endorse and protect anything that a dimwitted talk show host says or does, because that is who they’ve become. Never forget for a nanosecond, Trump didn’t get here by himself. He is the monster which the mad doctor of the Republican party created. He might have been a novelty act on TV, but when the GOP decided to go along with the gag, they became not only Dr. Frankenstein, they became Dr. Mengele as well.

That’s why we’re here today watching this.

  2. The next time someone says what a brilliant strategist McTurtle is, just point to Trump. Mc thought he could control the beast, gave him pass after pass hoping that would satisfy the insatiable monster and now, his party is a swarming mass of maggots.

  3. He acts this way, either because as you say, he thinks he can get away with anything, or he’s just that stupid. Take your pick, I think it’s even odds.

  4. The former guy lives in his own world, where it’s always, always, all about him and what he wants and needs.
He’s been getting away it with for more than 70 years, too.
