I love the smell of conspiracy theory in the morning, it smells like QAnon. The official spin in Trump world was given by the Dreamsickle Deity himself early this morning, along with a diatribe on Letitia James on Truth Social. Donald Trump claims that the FBI planted evidence at Mar-a-Lago. That is Trump speak for, “I’m guilty as hell and what you’re going to find isn’t my doing, it never is, they planted it. It’s their fault, like always.”
Social media and right-wing media are exploding with variations on that theme, as we speak. Even Newt Gingrich went on Charlie Kirk’s show this morning and he claims that documentation was planted.
And the craziest fringes of Trump world are going all out now to prove that Trump, the Hero, had evidence that the FBI is afraid of. That’s why they came in and grabbed it.

By yesterday I was already sick of the conspiracy BS, the rationalizations, the lies, etc. from the right. I don’t want to hear any more because it’s all junk noise. The threats from McCarthy are based less on love of tRump or the rule of law, but more from a fear that this is going to affect the election and Mc’s chances of getting his hands on his much lusted for top spot in the House. What a transparent, shallow POS. All the real ‘crisis actors’ (MTG, Bobo, Gosar, Gaetz, Jordan et al) are jumping up and down and making obscene noises to get attention. None of them have anything to say that’s worth listening to. The Right looks for any excuse for violence, so the threats of ‘lock and load’ and ‘civil war’ have been there all along, just waiting for any pretext to trot it out. They are hysterical at this point and it’s exhausting.

Even if TurdFG has dirt on former Presidents, how does he justify taking it from official records and squirreling it away at Mag-a-lardo? It’s still a crime no matter what’s in those documents and what were his intentions in taking them in the first place? With the GQP, anything goes if it hurts the opposition and keeps them in power but listen to them whine and spew when they think the opposition is doing the same thing.
