It looks like the mental patients in the seriously disturbed ward of the GOP madhouse are finally turning on one another. None other than Lin Wood is back in the news today. Wood has managed to alienate almost everybody in the GOP with his antics and if there is a final nail that needs to go into his coffin, these memes will surely do it.

The memes aren’t embedded here as video, but if you go to where they’re linked to, you’ll be able to watch them. Stupid is as stupid does is what you will be thinking after you watch them.

Daily Beast:

In the first clip, taken from Eastwood’s A Fistful of Dollars, Wood’s face is superimposed on the action star as he faces down an Old West rogue’s gallery that includes Lindell, Flynn, Senators Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham, and members of the election-fraud movement that Wood feels have wronged him in some way. In the clip, Wood’s character shoots them all dead.

McConnell and Graham could not be reached for comment.

In the other twovideos, taken from films starring Eastwood as the vigilante hero Dirty Harry, Wood-as-Eastwood holds a gun on a criminal edited to look like Flynn. In one, Wood’s character threatens Flynn that he’ll “blow your head clean off.”

“They were memes,” Wood wrote in a text message to The Daily Beast. “Do you have a sense of humor?”

“I spend most of my time sharing Jesus Christ with others,” Wood added.

I can’t presume to speak for Jesus Christ but I cannot imagine that he would want this man speaking for him.

In addition to his religious delusions, Lin is a trifle paranoid, shall we say?

In a June post on Telegram, Wood claimed that more than 70 people had “infiltrated” his home, business, and social media accounts “in a variety of disguises.” Wood even turned on Kandiss Taylor, the longshot Georgia gubernatorial candidate whose campaign seemed to only exist because of Wood’s backing. In Taylor’s case, Wood began to suspect dark symbolism behind her campaign’s use of stars—a common patriotic symbol—in its material. Taylor went on to lose the Republican primary by more than 70 points.

This isn’t the first time Wood has discussed Republican leaders meeting violent ends. In January 2021, days before the Capitol riot, Wood tweeted that then-Vice President Mike Pence would be soon be executed by a firing squad.

And if this is new information to you, Wood has cast asunder Mike Lindell. They are no longer BFFs. That happened in May. Oh, well, religious movements do splinter off into sects and Election Truthers are nothing if not a cult.

Pro-Trump lawyer Lin Wood has turned on longtime friend and fellow election truther Mike Lindell. “I no longer follow him. I have no use for his products,” Wood told The Daily Beast of the MyPillow CEO on Sunday night. “I don’t like what he is selling.” At issue are state audits of the 2020 presidential election, which are crumbling and sparking a war of words between 2020 election truthers.

After one Wood-backed audit venture fell apart, the lawyer has called pillow executive ally David Clements an agent of the so-called “deep state,” poked fun at his necktie selection, and even alleged a “Red Shoe Club” association. (The Daily Beast’s Kelly Weill noted that the “Red Shoe Club” is a “bogus conspiracy theory that claims people who wear red shoes secretly torture children.”)

On Sunday, Wood further shared a meme depicting him cutting off the head of Clements. Lindell didn’t return The Daily Beast’s request for comment. Last year, Salon reported on a secret meeting Clements attended where the pillow tycoon’s closest allies met with former President Donald Trump.

Decapitations, shootings, it all makes sense. How about pouring burning coals on the enemies? That’s in the Bible, if I recall. “For thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the LORD shall reward thee.” Proverbs, 25:22. Lots of love and inclusivity in that image.

  1. Mr. Wood really needs help. How does he survive financially? Must be other crazies and lunatics that buy into his misguided rhetoric.(sic)
