Roger Ailes may not be at the helm of Fox News any longer but his spirit lives on. If you’re not familiar with the origins of Fox News, at the beginning, some 25 years ago, Roger Ailes would slide propaganda in very subtly. Fox News was not like what it later became or what it is today.
No, back in the beginning, Ailes would have plenty of news clips about normal occurrences, hurricanes, car wrecks, you name it, and those were reported in a straight forward manner. Then, when political stories came up, a slight shade of bias would appear in the mix.
It took a few years before Fox News became what it has been for so long now, which is the mouth organ of the Republican party — and not the entire Republican party, even, but its more extremist fringe. That was then and this is now. Fox is divorcing Trump and walking a different way and it’s going to be hilarious to see, unless I miss my bet. Here’s a preview.
“Elections are about the future.” You heard it first from Mike Pence’s lips and while I think he’s dreaming the impossible dream in terms of a future in presidential politics, that is going to be the party’s mantra.
“It’s time to pass the mantle,” “we’re blessed with a good, deep bench.” In other words, bye bye Donald. Your shelf life has expired. You are old goods. We’re going to get some fresh product out there and you can go build a presidential library and fill it with comic books, or you can bury lots and lots of people at Deadminster, or you can go find a spot in South America and take the MAGAs and serve them kool-aide. Frankly, Donald, Fox doesn’t give a damn.
I can’t wait to see more of these. And I’m dying to see Trump’s blow back. Trump is one of these guys where you don’t dump him, he dumps you. And Fox News doesn’t know their place. This will be comical.
The MAGAt army gets smaller every day. TFG’s only options to fight back are Truth Social, his rallies and maybe NewsMax (OANN is efffectively off the air). If Faux Noise mounts a united front against him, he’s toast. But, in the meantime, I love watching the rethugs in disarray.
This will get ugly, is my prediction. I think Trump will tease out his announcement of running for office until the last minute, to appease the RNC so they keep paying his legal bills. In the meantime, Fox News is burying him alive.

I guess some honchos at Fox felt like creating another modern art (non) masterpiece on the walls at Mar A Lago or wherever the fuck Trump is at the moment. By causing a Trump Tantrum (Trumptrun?) and him throwing his plate and serving dishes with more food (including a “beautiful” chocolate cake, with extra scoops of ice cream of course) against the walls!
Hey, I take my small forms of entertainment where I can find it so who am I to judge the folks at Fox for feeling frisky and wanting to provoke Trump! If they keep this up some poor assistant is going to have to have accounting put a cleanup crew on retainer. Not some regular cleanup crew, but one of those that specializes in crime scene cleanup because the messes he creates are going to get increasingly worse and regular cleaning stuff/procedures won’t get the job done. Hopefully the cleanup folks will insist on cash payment upfront before starting their work. I sure as hell would!
