A new low has been reached in the smug condescension of Lauren Boebert. Hard to believe, but true. I thought she had reached her nadir when she said to Stephanie Ruhle, “Oh, you’re such a loser,” when Ruhle suggested that Boebert might return to the show and discuss red flag laws.
Oh, yes, Ruhle is the loser. Shootings are reported every day in this country, three just today in Illinois, Michigan and Tennessee, but Ruhle is the one who doesn’t know how things really work.
And neither does Pete Buttigieg, so Boebert has had to school him. What’s that you say? How can somebody who had to take the GED four times tell somebody who’s a Rhodes scholar, who speaks six languages, how to do his job right? Listen and learn.
Boebert on Buttigieg: “I think he needs to watch more of ‘Thomas the Engine’ to really understand how our infrastructure works. Wasn’t Buttigieg just saying that we have too many white make construction workers? Here he is dressed in cosplay as a white male construction worker.” pic.twitter.com/hOrXLCNpMP

I confess I don’t know what she’s talking about with Thomas the Engine. I think she’s talking about Thomas the Tank Engine, which is a set of children’s books done in the 1940’s and later translated to video as cartoons. The engines live on the mythical island of Sodor, in the Irish Sea, and are used to teach children about colors and numbers.
The stories are also meant to be morality tales about choices, responsibility, teamwork, consequences and such. Maybe to Boebert, Thomas the Tank Engine is a real character and he pulls toxic waste in his cars. Your guess is as good as mine what this moron is talking about, on this occasion and always.
But on this occasion I have to say that her smug condescension to people who are so many lightyears beyond her intellectually, educationally, experientially, and last but absolutely not least, morally, is particularly appalling. I thought trashing Ruhle, “Oh, you’re such a loser,” meaning that Boebert, by contrast, is such a winner, was her bottom. No. It was just the warmup to this and I don’t know what her next bottom will be.

Your guys were talking cosplay these one were good also pic.twitter.com/oPBlpJSng6

I’ll tell you something. We’re going to do everything we can around here to get Adam Frisch elected. He almost made it last time, and we can do something, raise a little cash for his campaign, steer some publicity his way, something. Boebert is unspeakable.

Well, when you think about it Bobblehead IS a real life version of a cartoon so it makes sense she’d want Buttegieg watching cartoons hoping he’d see her.
It’s this one tone deafness she’s got which utterly alienates me. She calls smart people losers and frequently to their faces. Stephanie Ruhle is an intelligent woman and good at her job by any reasonable yardstick. She didn’t get where she got by being the poster child of fringe nuttiness, like Boebert, But Boebert has no problem telling her, to her face, what a loser she is. And she says all of this to Buttigieg in exactly the same tone, like he’s some idiot.
Maybe she believes this on some level. Maybe that’s how she can do it, is because she’s deluded herself into thinking she does know more than these people.
Stupid people don’t know how stupid they are…in fact some are under the delusion that they are smart…
Apparently, that big tube of super glue in her pocket squished out as she was hit by a revolving door at the local gun store … can’t get away from it, can’t learn any more ways to communicate … runs so fast she can only spit out nonsense before the return trip …
She is as worthless to the Colorado political scene as a frozen hockey puck, which has more value in many ways …
BUT, she LOVES those guns!!, probably sleeps with her favorite every night, tucked in properly for quick fixes, running oily rags over the stock and barrel …
I keep remembering she only has a GED, and there are claims it took multiple tries for that.

We should get her recommendations for cartoons. Clearly that’s her video library that has given her such great insights. I grew up with bugs bunny, but she doesn’t seem to have had him as a professor. He teaches graduate school. Yosemite Sam or Elmer Fudd seems to be her curriculum.
I’d suggest she forgets Thomas the Tank Engine and watch ‘Trumpton’ (another BBC kids’ series from round the same era)
Speaking as a person who has administeres the GED test for my local (at the time) school district, I am really tired of hearing about Boenert taking the test four times, because the statement is meaningless.
TheGED is made up of multiple ests. I think I remember administering seven, but in any case, it is now four (and there ia now an essay requirement, which there was not at thetime.) Yu can take them all at once, or separatlely. If you take them separately, you might take one, two, or three at a time. You can take them all separately, in four separate sittings. Without access to her records, how do we know that isn’t what is meant by “four times? Also, you only have to retest the ones you didn’t pass the first time. Most people can pass one at least – and even if someone didn’t, taking them all at aonce, why would not that person retest them separately?
If Lauren Boebert sat down four times to take all four tests at once – besides having spent $600.00 unnecessarily – I just find that hard to believe. I could believe that she sat down for all four tests once, passed one, and retook the other three one at a time. I could bre;ieve that she took the entire group, passed two, decided to take the other two separately, passed one on the first retake, but failed the second on the first retake and had to take it again. That would make four sittings and cost $262.50. The cost would be the same if she took all four first, passed three, and needed three retakes to pass the fourth. Any of those scenarios could be described as “testingfour times” but the implications would be vastly different.
To say it took her four tries is not really meaningful n the context i which the test is admnistered.
I’m not saying she’s smart, since she obviously isn’t. I’m really not so much concerned with being unfair to her, as I am to being unfair to the test, which at least use to be fairly rogorous. It’s been revised several times since I administered it, but I would be very surprised if it isn’t still at least as rogorous – possibkly more so, since it now includes an essay. Essays will really show up what a person doesn’t know.
maybe with your spelling errors and typos,
you may want to rewrite this. ijs ( I’m just suggesting).
otherwise a fair reqd.
Ursula this is what she is talking about and SHE is the one who should be paying attention to it!
Bobo needs to watch Schoolhouse Rock to figure out what HER job involves.
She always reminds me of the woman you meet in a (dimly lit) bar and figure is a “sure thing”, till she gets drunk and starts mouthing off to a bunch of bikers who then kick your ass as her “defender”.
