Couldn’t believe this when I read it, but then there was more in the news with variations so I *had* to. Pettiness doesn’t look good on you. Doing his job as best he could with you. He *earned* his rank. You have no idea of what he’s done. You just think “oh he’s a block to my ambitions”. Now you have a yes man who doesn’t belong where he is, but we have to remember that loyalists are in the government, not the people truly qualified to be there.

Pete Hegseth (gaaaaah) has removed the security detail and suspended the security clearance of retired General Mark Milley. He has legitimate Iran threats to his life after the 2020 US drone strike that killed Iranian General Qusem Soleimmani, threats which are still active. I guess someone’s life doesn’t matter to Petey boy. And he’s now looking at whether it’s appropriate he should be reduced in rank from his current four stars. WHAT WHAT WHAT? The stupidity increases!

What’s he going to take him for? Insubordination? You have to get a trial of his peers for a court martial, well, okay, I think that’s correct. He is supposed to lose one star for NONSENSE. For Payback. Okay, he said some things for Bob Woodward’s book “War” and I’ll bet he stands by them today, because the Cheeto Prophet *is* fascist and DonOld is the most dangerous person in this country. From my perspective, it’s true. Actually, since he’s retired

And half of the country is horrified by this crap and there isn’t a way for us to overturn this, at least not right now. We need to turn around Congress at midterms and we need to follow Hakeem Jeffries because he’s damn strong and not afraid to say things as well as trying to get things done, which means make the Republicans work for it if they want our help.

But back to Four Star General Milley. He didn’t get those four stars by prancing around and being an administrator. He got those because he *worked* for them. “Civil military experts say it’s unusual, maybe even unprecedented, to investigate a former senior officer for conduct that alleges “undermining the chain of command. What is unusual is for a president to punish his own appointee, after the fact, in such a public way at a time when his administration says they’re worried about politicizing the military and weaponizing the Justice Department, ” said Peter Feaver who teaches political science at Duke University.

And there were 2 other military experts that didn’t survive the Mango Mandarins’ White House. (That would be James Mattis and John Kelly). You can’t do much but roll your eyes at those. And if he’s so pissed at General Milley, why isn’t he pissed at the other two? Is it just the statement for the book that has his Pampers in a knot? That was a couple sentences. He didn’t write the book, after all. tRump knew about the books. So, if his people are in them, what of it?

General Milley swore an oath to the Constitution, not to the current President. When Milley retired in September, 2023, he reminded those in uniform that they take an oath to the Constitution, against all enemies foreign and domestic, emphasizing the words “all” and “and. We don’t take an oath to a king, or a queen, or to a tyrant or dictator, and we don’t take an oath to a wannabe dictator,” Milley said, in clear reference to Trump. “We don’t take an oath to an individual. We take an oath to the Constitution, and we take an oath to the idea that is America, and we’re willing to die to protect it.” I think that says it all right there.

******And now, please read a very special message from our awesome boss******

Friends, I am forced to self-promote and ask you for money. We had a bad year compared with 2023 and the end of the year has been catastrophic. Traffic died on November 5. 1. From what I understand, it was the times that he went behind Trump’s back and communicated with the Chinese that earned him DonOld’s ire. The time, I know of at least one, where he let the Chinese know that the US was NOT going to war against them. Trump was doing his usual, as he calls it, “bluffing”.

    • Trump should have kept his yap shut. I think General Milley did the right thing because that could have gotten very bad in a very short length of time. I have so much admiration for him (and of course “him” is not tRump.)

  2. Hegseth and his lunatic boss are playing with fire. When things get really bad in some republics the military steps in and runs the shop for a while. I wouldn’t take that option off the table here.
