This is a question that Trumpty Dumpty was not expecting, oddly enough. I don’t blame Laura Ingraham for asking it, it’s a logical one. But it seems logical to me, because I have an idea about how normal people work in human relationships and Trump does not. He doesn’t have normal relationships, he has transactional ones. This is basically testified to by not only his biographers but his own relatives. Just this morning his nephew, Fred Trump III, said that Donald only uses people, he doesn’t relate to them normally. So here is a portion of last night’s Fox News interview that raises eyebrows.
We know why she can't talk about. And those are not the reasons.

Trump was put on the spot. He had to make up some reaction that his wife would plausibly have. So the closest he could come is that his wife was choked up with emotion and couldn’t talk about it.
While we can debate all day and all night about whatever impact the scene had on Melania (who I seriously doubt was watching) the fact of the matter is that the man walked off the scene under his own power. Now if he had been knocked off his feet, if there was a geyster of blood, that sort of thing, that would have been different.
And again, I’m not minimizing the fact that a sniper on a roof shot bullets into the crowd. My posture, since Day One, was that Trump was injured slightly by flying debris. His “wounds” bear out that theory and the footage bears out that theory. He said, “Oh,” and touched his ear and then knelt down. He did not cry out in pain, which if the injury had been severe and there was a lot of blood, he would have.
We’ve all seen the footage over and over. This was not a seriously injured man. But it was a seriously childish man.

There you hear him say, “Wait wait wait wait,” and then he makes that scrunched up face and pumps his little fist in the air. That scrunched up face is the real Trump. That is not a face of courage. It is a childish, pissed off face, and a face hell bent on revenge. His thought is not just getting out of harm’s way right then, his thought is milking the moment.
And again, as you look at his “injuries” they are minor. He’s wearing a white shirt, for crying out loud. Believe me when I tell you I bloodied a white shirt I was wearing when I got a slight head wound after a car banged into me and my forehead banged against the car window. There was a lot more blood than you see here.
People have said this event was staged. I don’t believe that at this time. I see no evidence. And even if there was evidence, you saw how the press covered up the injuries of the four police officers in Butler, Pennsylvania and the possibility that Trump was hit by the same debris that they were. It was only when Christopher Wray mentioned that Trump could have been hit by “shrapnel” that the story got all blown up, almost a month later.
What is pure comedy about this is that if Trump was any kind of a real man he would have said, “I’m fine. Help the other people.” But no. He milked the moment. He wrested every drop of drama from it that he could.
So Trump is disguising Melania’s reaction. Again, believe what you see. Trump was not egregiously wounded. And what would he have us believe, that he returned home and she ran into his arms and would not let go? Oh please. Please.

From the moment I first saw footage of the act I thought it was staged. I’ve yet to see anything proving otherwise and dr. feelgood’s “medical” report only deepens my feeling it was bullshit. Now, IF , I’m wrong (it is within the realm of possibility), then that clown show that is called his ss detail needs to join whatever circus is still operating in this country. But I don’t think I’m wrong: the whole thing looked like an act. A badly staged act, but an act nonetheless. It is a pathetic bid for attention and all it got him was another silly nickname: kotex ear. I personally think shitzinpants will outlive kotex ear but who knows. One thing I am seeing however is how the story keeps changing, not evolving, changing. No one is on the same page even after all the photos with a paragraph on the back of each one explain what each one was…have been shown.
I keep watching the whole shitshow footage and I am still not seeing anything other than a bad play. A clumsy act.
One thing is certain, whether it was a poorly staged act or a poorly executed ass. attempt, von shitzinpants did not get any sympathy support. He got blown out of the water by a class act: President Biden’s announcement he is stepping down. I can live with being wrong so long as that p.o.s. didn’t get a boost in his poll numbers so I guess it doesn’t really matter.
We still haven’t seen a medical report and I doubt that we will. Although the FBI and the Secret Service are investigating the incident and they’re going to have to subpoena the medical records, I would think. Now I honestly don’t know how HIPAA and a subpoena work together.
My theory, as well you know, is that Trump got hit by the same shrapnel, debris, whatever, which “slightly injured” the four Butler cops. Maybe that shrapnel was part of a bullet. I don’t know. But if we looked at all the medical reports of every single person injured, or the one man who was killed, we would know what’s what fairly quickly.
Trump has been allowed to run with this “took a bullet for democracy” crap because it helps him politically.
I agree it’s more likely Trump was hit by shrapnel (whether on of the fragments of a bullet or what I think is more likely – either a piece of railing or a skull fragment from the dead firefighter who took a head shot) than a bullet. However at the time and in the hours afterward the narrative he was “hit” (nicked or grazed was sometimes used) an actual bullet struck the tip of his ear. Like I said I don’t think that’s the case but it’s easy to see why so many people including “Melanie” thought it was a bullet.
As for her reaction assuming they actually talked (and that’s a pretty big freaking assumption) if she was silent, and didn’t want to talk about it it’s probably because she knew better than to say what she was thinking. As in something like ‘Why am I SO unlucky? Why couldn’t that fook-eeng bulleet have gone just a few eenches to right? I’d finalee be reed of him! And collect all my mon-ee!’
Something like that ran through her head after the incident (and countless times since) whether she actually sat down with him that night or the next morning or not.
The plain fact of the matter is that if he had been killed, Melania would get whatever is in the will and she would be done with him. I can’t imagine that there’s a lot of love lost between those two. This is not a normal marriage as I understand that term.
Sometimes events aren’t staged and they aren’t part of a conspiracy plot. It isnt unheard of for an American President or a political office holder or candidate be the victim of an assination attempt. It happened and investigations will analyze every piece of evidence and action and inaction that took place. Trump took immediate advantage of it and will be recounting his story about it until the day he dies. Nothing we can do about that. It will be up to the Harris Campaign to drown out his poor me shtick with undeniable truth and enthusiasm for the future.
Meanwhile, I think Trump’s take on Melania’s reaction to the event is bizarre. Like he doesn’t know if she loves him or likes him. It goes like this “She loves me, She loves me Shot. She loves me, She loves me Shot”. My bet it is that she loves him shot. Dang, so close to getting out of her contract and on to the fight over his estate.
