The only thing more amazing than how Donald Trump lies to the world is how he lies to himself. He surely cannot believe what he says in light of all evidence to the contrary. But he must, because he keeps giving the same silly explanation for why people are shooting at him and that is: It’s all Kamala’s (or Joe Biden before her) fault. It’s their “rhetoric” the fact that they call him a “threat to democracy.”
Now the actual facts of who has taken a shot at Trump recently belie all this. The would be assassin in Butler, Pennsylvania was a registered Republican and had voted in 2022. And we find out that yesterday’s shooter, Ryan Routh, voted for Trump in 2016, then became disillusioned with him, and wanted a Haley/Ramaswamy ticket. So this is not the doing of Kamala Harris, this is the doing of none other than Trump himself. He’s had two incidents where people have attempted to get near him with powerful guns and on both occasions they are former MAGAs who have evidently decided that they can’t stand the man anymore.
Trump told Fox News Digital today that he could use rhetoric like Harris does but he doesn’t. Or maybe he will now. How Trump is going to dial up the rhetoric is beyond me. And of course Junior is blaming Democrats as well.
What about parents fearing sending their children to school because of gun violence? How about parents burying their children because Republicans refuse to pass sensible gun reform? Don Jr the insufferable moron needs to take several seats and sit the fuck down. Screw him.

What I find tragic here is that no Democrats want Trump dead. I think we’re pretty unanimously agreed that we want to see him tried and convicted for his crimes and then end up dying of old age in prison. But it is interesting that former MAGAs think that it’s a good idea to kill him. That is something that I would like to see a sociological study on, “Why disillusioned MAGAs decided to grab weapons of war and go after their former messiah?” I’d love to see a masters or Ph.D. thesis on that.

He’ll walk away with nothing and so will the Republican party. Deservedly so.
There are 20 million assault rifles on the street. That is due to Trump and the GOP blocking any sensible gun legislation. Trump uses violence as a political tool on a daily basis as does his VP pick. HE INSTIGATED A VIOLENT COUP ON JANUARY 6TH AND WATCHED IT ON TV FOR OVER TWO HOURS, DOING NOTHING TO STOP IT. He then deflects blame on Nancy Pelosi. He has a secret service security detail. The children shot at Columbine, Sandy Hook, Parkland, and Uvalde did not. He BRAGS he will not intervene with this gun culture, but PROMOTE IT! Anyone who thinks he’s an innocent victim has their head up their ass. The man responsible for this last event was arrested 100 times in the past according to reports, yet was walking around with an assault weapon. The time honored phrase ‘you reap what you sow’ seems to be playing out. Phuck you junior.

I agree. I also want him completely humiliated. Totally exposed for the fraud he is and has always been. I, however, do NOT want his punishment to be anything anyone can “pardon” him from. No commutation of sentence, no later absolution to release him to infect Humanity again. How do you hold him accountable and “punish” him while also removing the possibility of the next pube ruler infecting us with him for another go round?

Our prison here in Iowa, carries about 1000 prisoners at once if shitgibbon thinks he will get anything else from the soup kitchen, he will be sadly, but wonderfully wrong, the real problem is making 3000 meals a day, every day, the only exception is a medical or religious requirement and those prisoners eat at different tables for ease of keeping track and serving problems …
Trump’s diet will be adequate for health reasons, we ate prison food the day our grand jury toured the prison, simple/hot and good tasting, the kitchen has been remodeled and the new equipment gets a workout every day … BTW fuck Trump!
I’ve a feeling that as more time goes by and more comes out about this, we’ll have yet ANOTHER staged event. As more time went by we went from a bullet took his ear off to maybe some glass creased his ear a tiny bit. And I STILL don’t believe the first one was an actual, real attempt. This one, during which NO shots were fired, is even more likely to have been staged. This routh person seems to be a real loser and stupid besides (he did support trump in ’16)-wouldn’t take much to purchase his services for something minor like this. I wonder if the firearm was even loaded.
As for tweedle-dumber jr.: he needs to be explaining to his kids how much THEIR lives are in danger in their schools just so daddy can pretend he’s a man by owning guns.
