If you haven’t seen Donald Trump’s greeting card for America’s birthday, it’s the same as all the rest, meaning: 1. Insulting, 2. Divisive, 3. Complaining, 4. Childish, 5. Paranoid, all the descriptors which we have come to expect not only with respect to each holiday but which describe the *man* himself, every day of the year. But there is one element, two actually, that may end up having an actual unifying effect: Trump goes out of his way to trash Kamala Harris and to make reference to a romantic relationship she had with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown many years ago.
The gender slam and the obvious racism may end up uniting people behind Kamala Harris. Fine. And it’s intriguing that he’s even going after Kamala. He seems to have swallowed hook line and sinker, the latest manufactured crisis that Joe Biden is actually contemplating dropping out of the race. Not going to happen. Never was going to happen. But it’s part of our historical narrative now, because a click-frenzied media had to invent a chapter in American history in order to keep everybody on the edges of their seats and biting their nails, wondering what would happen next. And it goes without saying that there were a couple of Democrats ready and willing to come forward to support this fantasy narrative.
Trump may believe — to his detriment — that he’s going to be some shoo in candidate in the fall. That’s because he lives in his adamantine echo chamber where people tell him how wonderful he is. Nobody in the real world thinks he’s wonderful. His MAGA cultists will follow him to the end because they want to live in a world where the lowest common denominator of American culture rules. And I suppose that makes sense. At least to them it does.
But in his heart of hearts Trump knows that he’s got a tremendous upward battle. And it’s going to take a lot more than one meaningless debate to turn his situation around. So by all means, Donald, trash Kamala Harris. All you’re doing is creating happy thoughts and good vibes towards her by doing so. The people that you name personally as “losers” all wear it as a badge of honor.
Sure all the various characteristics of Trump the Whiner are on disply here, but so are all the attributes of the odious Stephen Miller, who surely penned most of this rant.

I have a thought,, 2 actually.
The first is, that after the recent SCOTUS decision regarding Presidential immunity, couldn’t Joe Biden sign an Executive Order declaring Trump a terrorist threat to this country? He could be executed with no foul to the President.
Although Joe Biden is too much of a statesman to do such a thing,, I do see another senerio, one in which some good citizen of our country,, most likely a soldier who Trump has declared “a sucker and a loser” will do the job himself.
