It’s a sad day we’ve reached when news services are compelled to sanitize the language of the sitting president, but we have long ago reached that point. Donald Trump threatened to beat the fucking shit out of Iran — much as he threatened to bomb them back into the Stone Age a few months ago. Even though Iran is allegedly at 8% of the country it used to be, it managed to marshall that eight percent and attack U.S. facilities in Jordan last night, so Trumpty is big mad.

Trump has never been weaker than right now. He’s just a bloviating buffoon — not that that’s new, but the degree of bloviation has gone through the roof. Trump assured us, “we obliterated them,” yet they are capable of a surprise attack. But then most attacks are surprises, ne c’est pas?
If this was a political satire farce it would be hilarious. Unfortunately, this is real and we’re living through it. Real people are dying, real money is being spent on missiles and other ordnance. Is MAGA tired of it yet? I doubt it. They’ll believe whatever they hear on Fox News.
