Trump is probably reacting to the cheery headline that Newsweek is running,  “Kamala Harris Leads Trump In Six National Polls In One Day.” Trump reads a headline like that and he hears the clang of prison doors behind him.
In a poll of 1,000 likely voters by ActiVote, conducted between August 7 and 14, the vice president opened up a lead of 4.8 percentage points on her opponent in a head to head matchup, with 52.4 percent of the vote to Trump’s 47.6 percent. The poll had a 3.1 percent margin of error.
Harris also led Trump by 2 points when third party candidates were included in a poll of 1,407 registered voters conducted by The Economist and YouGov between August 11 and 13. Head-to-head, Harris was leading Trump by 4 points, on 49 percent to his 45 percent. The poll had a 3.2 percent margin of error.
The vice president has taken the lead in multiple polls after Joe Biden pulled out of the 2024 race to be president and endorsed her as the Democratic nominee. Harris has proven to be a unifying force for the party as she prepares to go up against Republican nominee Trump on November 5.

And now, he’s posting an attack on VP Harris by disparaging Venezuela’s economy? If he actually were to move to Venezuela, what economy does he think he’d be participating in? (I think it’s also funny he’s claiming that Venezuela’s “dangerous criminals” are crossing the US-Mexico border but most of the folks who’ve left Venezuela–as I’ve heard–are RICH opponents of the current Venezuelan government, the kind who can actually afford to leave.)
If such a thing was even in the realm of remote possibility, it would STILL be worth it. Putting von shitzinpants back in the w.h. result in a depression the world has never seen before-it would make our 1929 depression look like a slight economic downturn. In fact, the U.S. as we have EVER known it (in our entire history), would cease to be. I wish to fuck people would get a clue about what awaits us should we be subject to another shitzi administration–a theocratic hell-scape that would make Iran and Afghanistan look like countries with too much freedom. A progressive country would do what all progressive countries do: enrich the ENTIRE population in the ways that count. Happiness, productivity, educational achievement, longer life spans (and money to spend–that is about the only thing way too many americans think has value)–these are the hallmarks of progressive nations. Ever notice something about the northern European nations? Always at the top of the happiness index, always at the top of educational indices, very productive (in fact, more so than we are to be blunt), and since we had way too many ‘pube administrations intent upon turning our middle/working/lower classes into serfs the good folks in places like Finland, etc. have taken over the top spots life span-wise. The U.S. lost ground when reagan took office and every republican admin. took another bite out of our potential since then in order to pay their masters, the wealthy and craporations, and worship their deity the almighty dollar. Our country almost sounded its death knell when von shitzi took office. It won’t be almost and it will expire should he be allowed to set one pinky toe in the oval.
