Or, maybe Trumpty looked at the calendar and realized that it’s July starting tomorrow and August follows July. And Fani Willis has big plans for August. If I had to guess, I’d guess the former, and he’s trying to head the narrative off at the pass.

And remember, this is from the group that says “Fuck Your Feelings.” But maybe Trump is channeling The Force here and if he just trusts his feelings, then Fani Willis’ case and all the other cases will just vanish. Because he feels they should.

I think either he’s gotten another target letter or his lawyers have been told another one is coming – and soon. Mark Meadows having appeared before the grand jury probably has worked him up some but unless I’m mistaken Meadows hasn’t cut a cooperation deal. (at least not yet) However Trump has had good reason to fear that’s where things are headed. In recent days however we’ve learned Rudy has (without being summoned) gone to the prosecutors with a proffer. THAT will have gotten Trump jacked up. Of course if he’d paid Rudy like he promised Rudy would have gone down with the ship. OTOH at this point Rudy probably can’t give prosecutors anything they haven’t already learned, and even an idiot like Trump can figure out IF Rudy goes into the witness box in open court the most prosecutors will want from him is “yes or no” to confirm evidence presented by other more reliable witnesses. And actual records/documents.
However the past day or so there’s been lots of reporting on Susie Wiles multiple meetings with prosecutors and though nothing’s solid it seems like she in fact is trying to cut a deal. She may not be someone familiar to people yet but one thing being said about her is while her commitment to Trump for years has been rock solid she’s smart, capable and tough BUT there’s no way she’ll go to jail for him. If he’s gotten word that she is in fact cooperating with Jack Smith THAT would sure as hell cause an epic meltdown. Folks will likely learn a lot more about her in the days and weeks to come but if the reporting that she’s at least been trying to see if there’s a deal to be had for her then the deep sh*t Trump’s already in will start setting around him like concrete.
