The headline is a comment that came out of Laura Loomer’s Twitter/X account. If you’re looking for a reason why this campaign is being characterized as “weird” I submit this to you as Exhibit “A”. But you’ve got to see the entire thing to get the flavor of it.

“A mug shot, his own sneaker line (two, last I knew) and three baby mamas.” Three baby mamas? Whut? A “baby mama” is a woman who has had a child with somebody but is not married to the man or in a long term relationship. Now, Trump was married to his first two wives and he’s married now. So I fail to see how Ivana, Marla and Melania qualify as baby mamas. I think Laura may have just screwed herself on this one. Melania is not somebody she can afford to piss off and that may have done it.
There’s some truth to this last statement. What’s comical here is that we have already had a Black president and he was wonderful. Obama ranks very high in the annals of modern presidents and historical American presidents, both. He made a wonderful impression when he and Michelle traveled abroad. So for them to do the same thing they did to him, all these years later, is just plain stupid. I marvel at it. But as Obama would say, “Please proceed.”
I think that she was descended from slave owners somehow makes her bad or anti-Black. Guess what? I’m descended from slave owners. If you have any relatives that were from the southern part of this country during a certain period of time, chances are that you, too, are descended from slave owners. It’s not a disqualification for being a good person, unless you believe that the sins of the fathers should be visited upon the children.
But here we are again, waving birth certificates and saying people are something other than who and what they say they are.
And actually? That may be a good thing. A lot of what is happening here is energy I have not seen since 2008. And that was a glorious time. Maybe we’re going back there. And this level of sheer idiocy only takes us back there.
And put it this way: Donald Trump is no John McCain. Kamala will wipe the floor with him.
Sometimes I wish the press would only report the blather out of the inverted King Midas and his flying-monkey bootlickers if it is intelligent or true. … that way, we would never hear anything.

I find that statement by Loomer to be insulting and degrading. It implies that a sneaker line, multiple baby mamas and a mug shot are defining accomplishments/emblems of the black race. Doesn’t get more racist than that.

Another thing too is that the black and brown folks weren’t the only slaves here. There were white slaves here too, but it seems that folks tend to forget that bit too. Laura Loomer’s post is definitely false. At least one well supported genealogy of Kamala’s ancestors exists online, including photos of both of her father’s grandmothers. They were both definitely Black. MVP Harris can justifiably claim to be both Black and Indian.
Laura Loomer evidently only traced back one branch, of her choosing, in order to cast slur upon MVP Harris. Loomer should just go f..k herself.
