Well, well, well. tRump issued a directive to ICE yesterday, and it’s nasty. He’s gone back to the ICE efforts to “remigrate” and has given them carte blanche to conduct sweeping raids in big cities such as Los Angeles (no surprise there), Chicago, and New York (again, no surprise there).
Both LA, as we know, and New York have told him they don’t need any help. They are doing just fine on their own. It seems that he’s increased the raids in the big cities to have the excuse to send in the military when people protest these raids. After all, who knows who will be caught up in these sweeps when they’re done?
Has anyone thought about how the military must feel about this? Yes, they have to obey orders. But they’re not here to do guard duty or protect ICE. They’re not here to be employed against the American people! How in the hell can they justify this to themselves??!! How can ICE justify this to itself? That’s giving *me* a tough time, and I’m a civilian. But anyhow, he put out a whole looooong sweeping declaration, which I’m only giving a bit of, because it’s ridiculous. Let’s start. From Raw Story:
“Our Nation’s ICE Officers have shown incredible strength, determination, and courage as they facilitate a very important mission, the largest Mass Deportation Operation of Illegal Aliens in History. Every day, the Brave Men and Women of ICE are subjected to violence, harassment, and even threats from Radical Democrat Politicians, but nothing will stop us from executing our mission and fulfilling our Mandate to the American People.”
Notice that bit about Democrats? Yea, right. Democrats are out there stirring up a rebellion against ICE. They have better things to do than that. Politicians. Democrats are off doing their jobs. You know, working for the people they represent? They don’t have time to mess around with ICE.
That’s different from neighborhoods getting upset and chasing them out. I am guessing that somehow, if he did this, the protests would keep going, and maybe, just maybe, he would get the “excuse” to send the military in to more places than just LA. He really wants to turn this into a rebellion. I don’t think that we, the people, are going to give him that excuse.
Trump added, “I want our Brave ICE Officers to know that REAL Americans are cheering you on every day. The American People want our Cities, Schools, and Communities to be SAFE and FREE from Illegal Alien Crime, Conflict, and Chaos. That’s why I have directed my entire Administration to put every resource possible behind this effort, and reverse the tide of Mass Destruction Migration that has turned once Idyllic Towns into scenes of Third World Dystopia.”
WHERE did he get all the fancy words? That’s super impressive for him. “Third world dystopia. Ha. We are far, far from that. Remember, the vast group of the American people think migrants are just fine! Yes, get the few who are committing major crimes. But the lesser ones? The misdemeanors? Oh, for heaven’s sake, leave them alone. Nearly all migrants behave. They work, pay taxes, and take care of their families. THAT is why they are here. They came here for a better life, not one full of persecution and fear. One last nonsense quote:
“Our Federal Government will continue to be focused on the REMIGRATION of Aliens to the places from where they came, and preventing the admission of ANYONE who undermines the domestic tranquility of the United States,” he concluded. “To ICE, FBI, DEA, ATF, the Patriots at Pentagon and the State Department, you have my unwavering support. Now go, GET THE JOB DONE! DJT”
The patriots at the Pentagon and the State Department. Oh, yea, he wants the situations to escalate. He doesn’t want foreigners to come into the country, no matter how much good they do and how much money they bring in. This is just getting worse. I’m thinking he may very well have seen pictures of the protests, and this is his (stupid) reply. What a pain in the ass. Go back to your hamburgers, tRump. Stop escalating.
