An amazing thing happened today in Georgia, when the terms and conditions of Donald Trump’s bail were set. The bail is at $200,000, and he has to agree to not intimidate any witnesses nor speak to any other defendants, except through his counsel. How’s that going to play out with Walt Nauta? Granted, Nauta is a defendant in one of the other cases, but the terms are that he can’t “communicate directly or indirectly with other co-defendants about the facts of the case” and I’m just wondering if there isn’t going to be some crossover here, since the classified documents case, the January 6 case, and the Georgia election interference case all stem from a common root. Certainly the last two do.
In any event, Trump just not being able to vent his spleen on Truth Social is going to be enough to mess him up bigly. That’s undoubtedly why he was screaming in all-caps on his social media platform about the GIANT MURDER WAVE! in Fulton County (psst…there isn’t one) and blaming Fani Willis for it. He knew this was coming. That’s his tell, melting down on Truth Social. Although the irony there is that anymore, with four cases going simultaneously, and E. Jean Carroll’s second trial in January, he’s got so many things exploding around him that he’s in daily meltdown. Nevertheless, here’s how today’s developments will play out for Trump.
You heard it all just now. Trump was trashing Geoff Duncan for his testimony just the other day. He can’t do that now or bail could be revoked. Or, another thought to consider is what was said about whether a judge would be willing to revoke bail since Trump is running for president. The question then becomes, if Trump running for president is the Get Out Of Jail card for all occasions, why bother setting bail or imposing conditions?
Trump needs to be dealt with like other defendants are dealt with and maybe this judge will be the one to do it. Meanwhile, maybe Trump will stick to the terms of bail but these people don’t believe it.

Barring a real come-to-Jesus moment, the only way Trump doesn’t violate his Fulton County consent bond conditions is if his lawyers confiscate his phone.

Trump’s bail for his arrest this week in Atlanta set at $200,000. As part of his release, it was stipulated Trump “shall perform no act to intimate any person known to him or her to be a co-defendant or witness.” We’ll see how long that lasts.

Where Trump ends up screwed here, ironically, is because he’s got his own social media platform, he can say whatever he wants. If he was back on the old Twitter, or even on the new X, some moderator might catch him before he trips himself up. Not going to happen on Truth Social.
Plus, with all his money, I don’t know if $200,000 is motivational. Maybe it is. Or maybe that’s chump change and he figures the MAGAs will give it back to him in a few hours.
Time will tell. As with all things Trumpian and all things, period, time will tell.

E is claiming the number of murders is way up. It isn’t. Neither assault or other violent crimes have gone up.this year, and in fact have gone down.

As we have heard, even Trump’s lawyers say he will not be capable of complying with the bail restraints, and then almost laughingly say but he will maybe get only a slap on the wrist if he receives any legal consequences. They are counting on the belief that if Trump is jailed, his cultists will explode and that the judges know this. I think Trump should have been jailed the moment he broke the first rules in New York. He is far more dangerous loose with access to social media and F**ker Carlson, et al. If he had been jailed in that first instance, we wouldn’t be where we are now. Lots of hos followers are already slinking away, and without an ability to add fuel to this bonfire that has ben at least smoldering since 2016, I count in the attention span of the average MAGA creep to tire them out. With nobody to stoke a mob, the mob normally disburses fairly quickly.
