I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen something especially bizarre with Donald Trump’s name on it and I go and check it out — and it is indeed a fake. Although not always. The Trump era has been characterized by any number of beyond parody moments. So at least half the time, if not more, if it seems too weird to be real, it is nevertheless real. Imagine my surprise after being offline for several hours to come back on and see this. This, said I, has got to be parody. But no, I went to Trump’s Twitter account and there it is, as big as life. And I checked it twice and still can’t believe my eyes.

Trump did a rally in Aurora, Colorado today and he’s also in Reno tonight, trying to screw up Senator Jacky Rosen’s reelection. I’m not so worried about that. Rosen is double digits ahead of her Republican challenger. But the pure batshittery propaganda that Trump peddled in Colorado today is something for the books. And then he repeated the same speech basically verbatim in Reno, Nevada. With the exception of calling the Governor of Nevada “chickenshit” which he didn’t do because Joe Lombardo is a Republican.

This is pure propaganda. There is nothing going on in Aurora, Colorado. But please take a look at Trump’s propaganda video, and then you might want to listen to the Governor of Colorado.

Now that you’ve digested that nightmare, listen to the voice of reason. And yet we are told that this man, Trump, has a 50% chance of getting back in office. And let me tell you something right now: these insane propaganda videos are what he was begging for money for, from his penthouse yesterday, and just wait until the week before election to see how he bottoms this. Halloween night should be something. I cannot wait. Maybe I’ll just unplug the computer and the TVs and hide under the coffee table.

That is the long and the short of it. But that’s not the message that Trump is putting out there. He is hoping to get votes from people in rural areas, all areas, who are glued to right-wing media and for whom the word of Trump is their gospel. Who ever would have thought that America would stand or fall based on a demagogic candidate broadcasting falsehoods and propaganda, but you see it happening before your very eyes.

This is particularly batshit. This clip above is from the Aurora rally. Denver is to Aurora what Los Angeles is to Santa Monica. By that what I mean, is that Denver is the big city, but Aurora is a neighboring suburb. Or, Denver is to Aurora what Las Vegas is to Henderson. My zip code is Las Vegas but about two miles south of me is the Henderson city line. Point being, Aurora, Colorado is not hundreds or thousands of miles away from the Mile High City, Denver, the Capitol, it’s just down the freeway, very close. So to depict Aurora as some occupied territory which Evil Denver refuses to liberate is flat out insane.

These videos and this propaganda are clearly not meant for Coloradans or for people who know the basic geography of Denver County. I don’t know who or where these propaganda videos of Trump’s are directed but I don’t think he’s going to turn Colorado red this November with this level of Bizarro World tactics.

Here’s the bottom line: Trump intends to fill up concentration camps with “illegals” which could be loosely construed to mean anybody he doesn’t like, which could be you or me. Especially you or me who speak out about him. We are the “scum” the “other” that he wants to eradicate, anybody who disagrees with him.

And he plans to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798, which would give him unprecedented ability to target foreigners for removal, without a hearing or due process, based solely on their place of birth or citizenship — or less. Who knows? If you’re of German descent but have a nice tan, you might be marked as an illegal from Haiti or Venezuela or wherever Trump thinks alien criminal enemies come from.

There is a mentally ill fascist running for the president of the United States of America on the Republican ticket. For the third time in a row.

OK, Ursula, here’s one we all need to research and figure out: Trump, his campaign officials, and the New York Post started a few days ago reporting that Trump has rented Madison Square Garden for a giant rally on October 27. I have seen most of MSM, including Ali Velshi on MSNBC this morning, report that this rally is happening. Most of these same MSM sources are also reporting that this will be like the 1934 Nazi rally at the Garden and that the far-right is screaming “Dems calling Trump a Nazi is a danger to democracy!!”
    BUT, here’s the problem…the Madison Square Garden calendar does not show a rally 15 days from now and no tickets are on sale!!
    Trump could be setting the stage for another big lie! “The Garden cancelled my rally because of the Dems threatening they would blow up the building!!” I wouldn’t put it past Trump to say a thing like that. Or, “we had to move the venue because of Dems and now only only 10K people can come instead of the 100K that asked for tickets!!” (The Garden holds just under 20K.) Trump could not hope to fill it anyway. So, some kind of BIG LIE is in the works and the MSM needs to get ahead of it instead of acting like it’s true!! 🤬🤬

  7. Trump didn’t go to Aurora. It may have been the Aurora post code. He went to a convention center next to the airport.

    Giving a speech at Dulles airport is not the same as giving a speech in Washington.

  9. I wish someone in his family or circle cared enough and would take the reins, tranquilize him and move this guy into assisted living or memory care. He lost sanity some time ago and now he daily abuses us with his negative, hateful, violent non-stop rants. He’s the only one that hates America and Americans, not immigrants, legal or illegal. He’s lost his mind, the dementia has taken over, and there’s a lot of negativity and paranoia that seems to go along with it. I would love to see him jailed for whatever he has left of his miserable life, but for now, I just wish someone would shut him the hell up.

  10. Ursula, I don’t understand your remarks about Denver and Aurora. First, you say that Denver is to Aurora as Los Angeles is to Santa Monica. However, Aurora is the third largest city in Colorado. Its population (395,000) is more than half that of Denver (717,000). On the other hand, Los Angeles (the city, not the metropolitan area) has a population of 3.8 million, while Santa Monica has a population of less than 100,000. Yes, 80 years ago Aurora was about 1/10 the size of Denver, but times have changed. One reason that the city of Denver is not as much bigger than its suburbs (and Colorado Springs) is that other cities surround Denver, so it cannot expand horizontally; it can only expand vertically.

    That leads me to your second remark about Denver that I don’t understand. You say that Trump’s message from Colorado is not “for people who know the basic geography of Denver County.” The city of Denver is coterminous with Denver County, they have the same boundaries. Would you or somebody else please tell me what the geography of Denver has to do with whatever “immigrant problem” Trump claims that Aurora has?

    I assume that you did not mean to be taken literally when you said that Aurora was “just down the freeway” from Denver. Years ago, I lived 4 blocks north of Colfax, about 15 blocks from the city limits separating Denver from Aurora. If somebody told me to take the freeway from somewhere in Denver to Aurora, I would ask him what freeway runs from Denver to Aurora. Aurora borders Denver on the east; one doesn’t take any freeway to get from one to the other
