Of all the people in the world to talk to our top brass, these two yahoos shouldn’t be it. Lecturing them on what they need to be doing. Talking about this and that, but talking is all they do. It’s pointless (mostly). *Definitely* a waste of their time and “our” money. Plus, as I have previously screamed about, ALL of the top people IN ONE PLACE.
There is a feeling that their commands are going to be a mess when they get back.
But this is the screaming for today, for right now. There are sound bites on CNN with some quoted lines that generate nothing but disgust. Lecturing the top brass. No kidding. What was all the hoorah for? What was the call to Quantico for? This??!!

Notice the phrasing in that, which isn’t and yet is surprising. Highest MALE standard. This strongly implies that women are going to be reduced to positions of servitude, like flying in supplies, or nurses or office workers. No more combat for them, no matter how much they have distinguished themselves. Male standard. All the progress we have made for women in the Armed Forces is going to be wiped away by idiot Hegseth.

Excuse me? Telling the top brass they’re FAT??!!! Wut? Holy cow. That’s a slap in the face. And condescending, oh so *condescending*. Took Hegseth a lot of balls to say that. They probably went away right after the speech, since we know darn well he doesn’t actually have any.
The president suggested removing restrictions on military members interacting with the public: ‘They spit, we hit.’
Well, it seems the president is condoning violence these days. That goes right along with the National Guard in Portland. Trump is trying to generate violence to give him an excuse to put the country under martial law. Wonderful.

Again, that subtle approval for violence. He’s just waiting for that excuse. People bleed and die. And that is supposed to be ‘training’? Someone, on *either* side, has a twitchy trigger finger and *boom* there we go. As Denis spoke about, the report that was on the DoJ website had *far more* incidents that were done by right-wing and not left-wing. The incident when a church was shot up and set on fire recently? Right-wing, and typical.
People bleed and die. Buildings burn, so more people die. It came from someone on the far-right side. But the DoJ doesn’t want the American public to know that. No, it was radicals from the LEFT side that caused it. Trump just wants an excuse.
So there we are with some of the ridiculous parts of Hegseth and Trump’s meetings and lectures from today’s meeting. Would anyone like to bet on how many of them were thinking “we came all the way from [location] for THIS?” We could bet on how many of them, but that’s all, because we *know* some of them are. Again and again, what a waste of their time and our money.
This could have been done through secure video conferencing. Petey was probably worried that some of them would blow off the meeting in favor of their actual *work* to be done where they are. So he forces them to come home and attend these talks from two babbling imbeciles. On our behalf, we apologize to these people. Thank you for what you do.
Friends, I know everybody begs you for money. I promise you that of all of the outlets bugging you for spare change, we are the smallest and the hardest working. We’re a bunch of old, disabled people, except one writer in his mid-50s. But the rest of us are in our sixties and seventies, and this is a labor of love.
