A house divided against itself cannot stand, we are told in the Bible, and Donald Trump is destroying the Republican party and on a larger level, America itself. Never has a political figure in our country been so divisive — with the possible exception of Benedict Arnold and he was a general who turned coat and not a president.
The man is a cancer on our body politic. He won the New Hampshire primary tonight — although by considerably less than he was touting. He was claiming he was 70 points ahead, wrong. More like nine. But he can’t be gracious. He’s got to be childish and ugly and now he’s really going over the top. He’s alluding to Nikki Haley being put under investigation “if” she would win, because of “five reasons” he knows about.
Best line of night he said hasn’t gotten any attention. “Biden can’t beat anyone.” Says the guy who Biden beat.

And then Trump got downright ugly and started trashing Haley’s appearance. This guy is a degenerate. He needs to be gone from public life yesterday, but I guess we’ll have to wait for November.
Such a gentleman. Wow. We want to give this guy dominion over our lives. He’s already taken women’s healthcare. This is what he says to a woman who by all accounts was a pretty classy shower today.

And here’s Trump going for revenge. I, for one, hope that Nikki Haley stays in the race for quite some time. She will provoke more of this bile from Trump and if this is the kind of man that people want back in the White House (and I don’t care if Joe Biden is One Hundred Eight-One) then we deserve to lose our Republican. If we’re this phuquing stupid to vote for this.
Trump is an embarrassment. I’ve never seen a less gracious victory speech. A lot of people worked hard for him and he never said a word of thanks. Nikki, by comparison, was happy and appreciative in her remarks.

She clearly knows that when the guy who spent most of last week at his own rape trial, who is out on bail in 4 different jurisdictions for 91 felony charges, inevitably lands in jail, she'll be there to pick up the baton.

Trump is sick, which you knew, but his sickness has infected a lot of the GOP, Tim Scott and Lindsey Graham being the poster children, and his sickness has attracted the likes of Ramaswamy into national politics.
Oh, well. It won’t be over until it’s over.
Supposedly Scott wants to run for Gov. of SC. He’s not doing himself any favors. I suppose he felt he had no choice but to endorse someone and figured he’d best go with the candidate who has the Evangelical vote (huge in SC) locked up but his timing sucked. And he allowed himself to get put in a position that will bury him with every racist in SC. The disloyalty to the person who elevated him to his position will be remembered come GOP primary time precisely because he’s a black man. Being engaged to a white woman (probably married by then) who worse is blonde won’t go over well at all. But seeing how easily he would turn on Haley is what will really get parked deep in SC voter’s minds. They WILL think “if he’ll turn right around and screw HER, what will he do to average folks like me with his policies?
Those white voters in SC managed to get over his color before but not anymore. They won’t trust him any farther than they can throw Ft. Sumter. Their minds will go antebellum, seeing him as the two faced top servant in the main house who trashes the Master in private but sucks up to him in front of others. Scott played the role to a “T for Trump” earlier, trying to ensure he wouldn’t offend any powerful white folks while ensuring his loyalty to his Master appeared unquestioned – a “I like’s miss Haley jus fine but I LOVES you Massah!” Trump all but patted him on the head saying telling him he was a good “boy.”
Yeah, it was sick.
Trump was clearly angry and that’s just what Haley tried to provoke by jumping out right away and giving a pretty good speech in prime time with a lot of the country watching. I still think she’s toast but a lot can happen in a month and if Trump only wins SC in the low to mid teens Super Tuesday might play out a lot differently than the pundits are projecting. Better still, Haley seems to be aiming her aegism mostly at Trump in recent days. Of course, unlike Biden Trump really isn’t all there mentally any more. She can, in the more measured way she did earlier do what Christie did and call Trump out as being chicken for not putting his political money (and “very fine brain”) where his mouth is and stand on a stage with her live and debate. It will drive Trump to new levels of batshit crazy.
Vivek is a lying, grifter cheat. Like Elon, his mom helped him make his money. Except in his case she helped with a grift.
